I was teaching grade 4 to grade 9 teaching them Natural Sciences lesson was about Vertebrates and invertebrates, i explain to them that we have different animals and why are we calling them vertebrates and invertebrates. animals that falls under vertebrates are fish, mammal, amphibians. Animals falls under invertebrates 1.cockroach 2.scorpion,3.spider.The activity is to giving them different pictures of animals to paste them on their exercise books and write the word Vertebrates in big letters and invertebrates an paste animals accordingly . The homework was..they will go home and get different pictures of animals Another topic was about animals eat different things like we have a cow that eat grass and we have a tiger that eat meat those two animals eat different things and they fall into two different categories we have herbivores, omnivores, carnivorous e. c. t.. Activity was. i drew a table and i write words on a write hand side herbivores, omnivores, carnivorous and on a left hand i write different animals so the they can match. 2.Subject: English - i was teaching them about grammar i gave them activity, like where to put commas(,) where to put full stops(.)(!) in a paragraph e.c.t,Activity class I gave them paragraph with no!,?,.i ask them to put them on paragraphs, Second topic was about tenses We have present tense, past tense,present continues tense, present perfect tense, present past tense, past particle, I taught them and explain how they work in sentences, I gave them class activity to identify the sentences that are in present tense or past tense etc Homework was about writing different words at home and come with them in a classroom and make sentences and put them on correct tenses 3. Subject: Life Oriantation for grade 8 and 9 i taught them that we have 2 different goals we have short term goal and long term goal, short term goal it is the goal you can achieve during a short space of time and the long term goal it can take some time to achieve it.Activity they will write examples of short term goals and long term goals. Another Topic, DEVELOPMENT OF STAGES BETWEEN A BOY AND A GIRL. when a girl is 11 to 12 years she starts to develop breast on her chest when she is 14 to 15 she start to menstruate.a boy his voice get deeper and there is this stage of sleeping and woke up wet others they dream.... Boys their shoulders become broader also their masculine.puberty. 4.Subjects:Social sciences - teaching them about who was the president maybe in 1994 whatare the changes he or she came with in our country,who is your president now, what is the name of your mayor, the name of a person who is in education also in finances. Another topic... what are your right and responsibilities and teach them about the economy Activity was to write down the lines. of right and responsibilitiy like1. i have a right to go to school and i have a responsibility to go to school and study, 2.i have a right to have a home.
