PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIES
•Analysis of design documents and Business requirement documents to gather the user requirements.
•Participating in project discussions with onsite counterparts to gather further requirements and also for clarifications and to monitor status / progress of the project.
•Understanding the actual business that has created a need for the project. This helps in better design of the test cases.
•Preparation of test strategy and test scripts.
•Preparation of traceability matrix to ensure the coverage of all the user requirements in the test scripts.
•Conducting Internal and External Quality reviews followed by Final inspection of test plan and other deliverables regularly to ensure defect free delivery.
•Building of test environment in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) region to perform testing. In case of big conversion projects, environment setups are done by us in SIT (System Integrated Testing) region too.
•Conducting UAT and defect reporting in application lifecycle management.
•Re-Validating the test scripts once the defects are resolved by the developers.
•Handled distribution, co-ordination and consolidation of tasks.
•Gathering the data from the source for regression type of projects.
•Analysis of impacted flows of mainframe systems and of impacted workflows of informatica systems.
•Preparing impact analysis document for the regression system and gathering all the upstream and downstream requirements.
•Aggregating the data as per the requirements and loading the transformed data into the warehouse.
•After loading the tables, testing and releasing the corresponding impacted views to the users.
•Third party tools like CA7, FILA and Change man are used for scheduling and for performing file level operations.
•Conducting UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
•Moving the data across databases whenever needed by using network data movement.
•Involving in Project Review meetings, Walkthroughs and KT sessions.
•Arranging for Quality audits to ensure high quality standards in the component being developed.
•Implementation and post implementation support. Turnover to production support team.
