• Ensure efficiency, safety and cost control by providing a detailed analytical record of the geology, oil and gas shows, drilling and mud parameters, and related problems encountered during drilling operation.
•Production zone identification, picking formation tops, Casing point, formation evaluation and interpretation of the data from LWD/Wireline/Mud Logging.
• Total gas shows, Chromatograph of hydrocarbon gases and H2S monitoring.
• Collection and examination of cutting samples for their lithology, grain size, mineral content, porosity, oil and gas shows etc.
• Formation evaluation; by lithology or rock types, Hydrocarbon gas etc. and log analysis.
• Stratigraphic correlation with adjacent offset wells to monitor the progress of drilling.
• Geophysical, geological and stratigraphic interpretations of the collected data for accurate picking of formation top.
• Monitoring & recording of lithology, formation pressures, selection of casing seat.
• Operating and maintaining a real-time computer-based data acquisition system, Insite, which records all aspects of rig activity, interpreting information and feeding it back to the drilling team to enhance safety and success.
• Preparation of daily reports, compilation of final well-data report & condensed logs with the data engineer.
