ES&H lead with 8 Advisors in parallel to patrol the total management system under the client Bechtel Petrofac JV project heading with Outotec- Germany as main contractor.
Progressing daily warm up with the workforce and management with a safety topic briefing.
Verifying daily activity with regards to the permit to work and checklist.
Inspection on total plant and equipment.
Updating on technical works 3rd party training.
Conduction all required training from top level management to bottom level employees.
Giving supports on all critical activity like heavy lifts, radiography, high pressure test etc.
In line with main client and main contractor and subcontractors representatives progressing weekly audit, monthly assessment as well critical audit .
Actively working on building up the project from Mechanical completion , pre-commissioning to commissioning of the total project.
Activity : Steel Erection
Active role in implementing HSE Plan, Method statement and Risk Assessment .
Plans and supervise safety audits and inspections of all work locations to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Updating and documenting on all third party certification.
Conduct regular in house safety training.
Monitors and reviews annual safety program and compare it to the actual progress to ensure areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly.
Conducts follow-up investigations of all EHS incidents / accidents including near-misses.
Conducts root cause analysis of significant incidents /accidents including near-misses and liabilities that may be avoided and recommends corrective and preventive techniques and procedures as appropriate.
Contributes to the analysis of accidents and identify trends, vulnerabilities and liabilities that may be avoided and recommends corrective and preventive techniques and procedure as appropriate.
Provides appropriate safety training that includes EHS orientation and a wide range of safety-related topics (i.e. fire safety awareness, confined space, safe work permits etc.) in order to maintain and increase readiness and competency of personnel to respond to any emergency or safety hazard.

Identifies, evaluates, establishes and maintains standards and specifications through maintaining the safety and other related manuals to ensure all company safety requirements and safety equipment conforms to approved industrial standards and in accordance with the EHS department policies and procedures.

This includes making decisions regarding appropriate discipline for infractions.

Conducting regular inspection on workers camp to ensure that occupational health and hygienic standards are followed as per the company procedure.

Issuing work permit for all fabrication, mechanical, piping, electrical Isolation and other general works.
Provide assistance and guidance to carry out Installation and maintenance of fire detection and fighting system at the fabrication yard, rig and camp.
Lead the HSE teams at the time of critical activities like Hull load out, float off and cantilever installation and helipad erection activities.

Audits and Inspection:
➢ Follow the LOTO system
➢ Implementation of waste management procedure and monitoring to prevent environmental pollution and suggesting remedial measures.
➢ Implementation and monitoring of safety precaution in handling, storing and transportation of compressed gas cylinder and other hazardous materials as per the requirements.
➢ Inspection and monitoring of working at Height.
➢ Inspection and monitoring of Scaffolding erection /dismantling.
➢ Inspection of Fire Extinguishers.
➢ Inspection, Identification and assessment of hazards and render control measures.
➢ Inspection and follow up of the lifting appliances as per schedule to ensure the equipment meets the required safety standards
➢ Inspection of Hand tools (electrical & mechanical) and render advice for any damaged tools renewal.
➢ Inspection of electrical equipments, electrical distribution boards, substation and electrical cables
➢ Regular Inspection on work site by observing the job and corrects the work force to eliminate the unsafe act and conditions which are hazardous to Health Safety and Environment.
➢ Workers Camp Inspection for maintaining Health & Hygiene. Action point area being monitored for Implementation.

➢ Inviting the experts to deliver the job oriented information classes to the work force.
