* Transcribing Top Billing television show episodes as seen on SABC 3 channel
Reason for leaving: Working with glamorous television people was wonderful, but this was a freelance position, so there was no basic compensation. A few months after I started the job, I was offered full time employment which required a lot of my time, and I could not dedicate myself fully to both positions.
* Servicing client portfolios - Handling queries, disputes & policy alterations
* Member of “Diamond Team” - Elite service staff that offers administrative support to Sanlam’s Top 100 brokers
Reason for leaving: Calculating retirement annuities and stock-shares was not my talent. I enjoy talking to people and being out in the world. A desk job in a blue chip financial company did not agree with my personality.
* Waiting on the restaurant's patrons
Reason for leaving: I was offered the position at the beginning of the FIFA 2010 World Cup, and I enjoyed this job more than any other work I had done before. This was a part-time position, however, so I was only paid in gratuity that I received from my customers - no basic salary. I could not develop a functional adult life with this position, so when I was offered a position at a blue chip financial company, I chose to explore that avenue instead.
* Cold calling clients to sell gym memberships - mostly in Afrikaans
Reason for leaving: The job was very stressful and it showed no real career growth.

* Capturing scores for public record filing - Online system
Reason for leaving: This was a short-term position available for the duration of the project. Once the exam papers were marked and uploaded on the national database, the work was finished.

* Logistics - Arrangements for photo shoots and interviews
* Managing archives - Hardcopy and electronic - for GQ, Glamour, House & Garden magazines
* Running errands
Reason for leaving: I spent a lot of time out of the office, meeting new people and doing new things, and I enjoyed the work very much. My internship period ended and I had to return to school to complete my National Diploma.
* Marking primary school papers in mathematics and English
* Capturing scores for public record filing - Online system
Reason for leaving: This was a short-term position available for the duration of the project. Once the exam papers were marked and uploaded on the national database, the work was finished.
