Preparation of SLD & load list for LV & HV Power distribution system.
Carried out Load flow study, short circuit study using ETAP.
Electrical equipment sizing calculations for Transformer, DG-set, UPS, battery charger, LV & HV cables.
Lighting calculations using CGlux (Indoor & Outdoor).
Preparation of Earthing calculation & earthing layout.
Powerfactor correction equipment sizing.
Preparation of Hazardous area plan, Substation layouts, Cable routing layouts & Communication layouts.
Understanding and co-ordinate with different phases of project.
Review Client Projects/ Tender documents and study electrical specifications.
Design and estimate the cost of the low voltage panelboards & switchgears.
Study the catalogues, technical data, specs and select appropriate switchgear products from international companies like Schneider, ABB, GE, Cutler-Hammer, Mithsubishi etc.
Study of switchgear arrangement, mounting, short-circuit, type of enclosure protection, cable-feed, balance of load etc.
Design the switchgear rating as per the given load details and select the appropriate breakers and busbars.
Size the cables for the selected breaker ratings.
Prepare single line diagrams and load list.
Development & Preparation of Equipment specification & Datasheets.
Actively contribute to design reviews from technical point.
Check & Review technical clarifications & issuing approval for manufacturing.
Well Versed with International standards & Codes.
Guiding Draughtsman to prepare Electrical Shop drawings.
Confer with engineers, customers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects and products.
Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
Prepare specifications and bill of material for purchase of materials and equipments.
Attend meeting with clients and contractors.
Investigate competitors' products.
Investigate customer or public complaints, determine nature and extent of problem, and recommend remedial measures.
