On-site Recruitment Specialist responsible for the delivery of permanent hires, within all divisions of Jaidah Group; Automotive, Equipment, Electrical and Furniture, based in Qatar. Working with hiring managers and other key stakeholders to ensure attraction, selection and delivery of the best candidates. Building long-lasting working relationships with key stakeholders and carrying out briefing meetings to ensure that detailed and useful role requirements are captured.

Providing market intelligence to the business to shape and improve resourcing strategies, creating talent pipelines and partnering with external recruitment partners where necessary.

Partner with candidates and clients, using the depth and breadth of expertise and HR market knowledge to ensure a unique match that makes individuals, companies and industries flourish. Brought into the business in order to develop the Human Resources temporary desk in Glasgow. Having not been worked on since 2012, main duty was to grow the profile of Hays Human Resources in the HR market within Glasgow.

Current Daybook sits at £9K with 11 workers working across both the Public and Private Sector. In addition Fixed Term Contract fees are added to daybook fees each month.

Responsible for Human Resources recruitment across Glasgow and the West of Scotland

Consistently fulfil the recruitment needs of our loyal clients/PSLs, while actively business developing new Human Resource clients in both the Private, Public and Not for Profit Sector

Hitting KPIs on a daily and monthly basis, these included 25 calls per day, 4 client meetings per week and 4 internal candidate interviews per week.

Responsible for the aftercare of all temporary workers and placements, this includes weekly calls to the candidates, holiday bookings, payroll queries and onsite contract assessments

Hold networking events and seminars with the Hays Human Resources team on key HR topics and issues in conjunction with the Chartered Institute of Personal Development.

Ensure all compliance standards are met prior to engaging candidates in contracts, this includes references, disclosure and PVG checks, checking right to work documentation

Sourcing potential candidates through the Hays Database, Linkedin, job adverts and referrals

Attend training workshops on client management, candidate control and how to effectively utilize recruitment via social media.

International Citizen Service enables those aged 18 and above to contribute to a programme of international development and to gain valuable personal development and learning through volunteering. ICS works towards three development outcomes; project impact overseas, volunteer personal development and active citizens in the UK and overseas.

10 week placement in Ghana, based in Cape Coast focusing on development of local youths and children

Partnered with community centre staff and local volunteers providing various awareness raising events

Taught English as a foreign language to local school children ages 5- 15

Developed the curriculum for the centre staff ensuing there would be continued development of the children after volunteers left the centre

Taught life skills programme to local youth aged 16-25 in order to widen their career and global perspective

Write various reports on the successes and challenges of the programmes and presenting the findings to key stakeholders of the programme.

Construction off various infrastrucre developments to assist with the centres programmes

The promotion of Lattitude Global Volunteering, GAP Year and international volunteering opportunities

Encouragement of students and youths to apply for placements through then delivery of presentations at schools and universities

Giving talks and representing Lattitude Global Volunteering at careers fairs and events

Primary aim is to promote the opportunities available to those interested in volunteering and the global community, while increasing awareness of international development
