• Assist management to ensure the system in accordance with IMS is current, updated, implemented and maintained covering: QMS ISO 9001:2015, EMS ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS ISO 45001:2018 and ISO/TS 29001:2010.
• Acting as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement of the requirements of these four certifications
• Engaging with continuous knowledge development regarding each certification’s requirements, recommended best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards
• Conducting induction training to new joiners on ISO / IMS certifications
• Coordinate and maintain the company documented management system in relation to ISO (OHSAS) 18001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 Standards and International Safety Management Code (ISM Codes)
• Supports the company with tendering and prequalification in the field of QHSE requirements.
• Coordinate with HSE Advisors in various projects for QHSE related aspects.
• Initiate HSE committee meeting as required with all the departments and ensure members are well informed.
• Ensure the Master records of Legal Register/ document register/ HSE Risk register/ Audit Register/ Lesson Learnt Registers are up to date.
• Monitoring the audit cycle programme to ensure it remains effective and up to date
• Conduct internal audits per department and recommend measures on improving the IMS
• Recommending appropriate changes as a result of the audit results to Overseas AST’s internal Management Systems for Quality, Environment and information Security where necessary
• Assist in elaborating strategies and action plans to attain Overseas AST cooperate objectives and targets and effectively implement the related corrective and preventive actions
• Participating in the follow-up and close-out of corrective actions that arise from operational activities, meetings, or audits that take place within the area of responsibility
• Developing and maintaining safe working procedures and HSE plans as necessary for controlling site and associated office normal or emergency activities.

• Ensured HSE program consistency, local regulatory compliance, and best practice sharing/utilization to promote overall operational excellence
• Record QHSE key performance indicators (KPIs), write reports and define improvement actions as necessary. Suggest and advise changes to ensure improvement on any additional KPIs to be added in the system as part of continuous improvement.
• Identify needs and coordinate training activities linked to QHSE for the site.

Achievement Highlights:

• Successfully implemented the Accident/Incident awareness and communication system called ‘Air Line’ across projects in-flight which led to minimize the associated H&S risks at project level by timely reporting of H&S culture of individual projects.
• Successfully achieved the ISO accreditation for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015 during the company transition from Al Futtaim Carillion to AF Construction while managing some of the great challenges associated with the requirements and processes of the certification body.
• Introduced highly effective and efficient HSEQ reporting system to the organization to identify and depicts performance levels of the projects to the utmost satisfaction of the management.
• Developed a highly effectivities conferencing process used to review all project HSEQ performance weekly without adding HSEQ travel cost.
