I have been involved in numerous large-scale testings and releases of biomedical products, particularly related to dental chair and dental imaging devices such as OPG Unit (Planmeca, Soredex), Dental Units (Castellini, Cefla), Conscious sedation system (Matrix by Parker), Intra Oral Scanner (Soredex), Intra Oral X-ray (Castellini, Soredex), Whitening Lamp (White Smile) and all other dental products.
Responsible for keeping the planned preventive maintenance scheduled.
* Monitoring and overseeing service and repair of the medical equipment.
* Providing engineering support to clinical and Diagnostic Departments as required.
* Provide coordination of clinical equipment installations including, planning,
scheduling, oversight and acceptance.
* Conduct device incident investigations when needed.
* To keep the statistical service history record.
* Ensure appropriate records and documentation of Medical Equipment.
* Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of the equipments
Managing the daily operations of the biomedical engineering department by
assigning work load, supervising staff and addressing customer needs.
* Planning monthly department budget and holds performance to the budget and
assuring compliance with preventive maintenance and warranty specifications.
* Liaising with other departments to assure reliability of biomedical equipment and
works with other managers to assure consistency of operations
Troubleshooting, calibrating and maintenance of medical equipments.
* Inspecting and installing medical and related technical equipments in the facilities
involved in researching, monitoring, diagnosing, and treating physical ailments or
dysfunctions.
* Demonstrating and explaining the correct operational method of equipments to
medical personnel.
