Project Outline:
The project works located in Qatar Southern area of Al Wakrah Municipality and within the boundaries of Qatar Zones 90 to 98 and Zone 57 with other areas as shown on the location plan. The works comprise the construction of temporary/permanent roads including protection of existing utilities, street lighting, provision of future services ducts, and water main dry leg crossings.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsible for obtaining details quotations and information from the Suppliers / Subcontractors, evaluating the Bid Summary Report, and negotiating the Purchase / Subcontract agreements against the project requirement, timely deliveries, and acceptable commercial terms by the company; ensuring contribution and sharing information to the Operation Manager/Commercial Manager related to procurement work, Subcontracts procedure, market strategies, sources, financial aspects, logistics, and contractual issues. Assist with the development of the contract and procurement strategy, policies, procedures, and best practices for both the programmed and various Projects.
Supporting Tender Committee, Estimating the Tender documents / Extracting the BOQ Packages, and preparing cost evaluation for Pre-Contracts.
After Post Award Contract, Study Client Contract Agreement BOQ all packages including Technical, Construction, Maintenance, General Services, and Manpower Supply Contracting Requirements (Or) Various department Purchase Request (PR), Material Request (MR) -Based on the Scope of works (SOW) - Evaluating RFQ Local Subcontractors, International Suppliers & Local Suppliers, Preparing Technical & Commercial Bid Summary Report and Finalizing all Sub-Contracts agreement.
Overall responsibility for all Procurement and Subcontractors management activity.
Technical and commercial evaluation of prequalified subcontractors' Bids and recommendation of award to the management, ensuring the performance bank guarantee and insurance is in place and valid during the life of the project per requirements of the Contract.
Preparing the sub-contract agreement for every vendor in lieu of different contract document
Preparing and maintaining a database for tracking and evaluation of tenders, contracts, change orders, certificates, approvals, and the like during the life of the projects.
Monitor, administer, and protect the company’s contractual and financial relationship with the client, sub-contractors, and suppliers, proactively identify commercial and contractual risks-, and formulate strategies to investigate such risks.
Preparation of contract closeout reports as per contract requirements and analysis of lessons learned, reviewing Statement of Final Account, and collection of completion certificates.

C816/2 - Construction of Foul Sewer Network for Inner Doha - Package 2
Client: Public Work Authority (Ashghal)
The Project comprises the design, engineering, supply, procurement, and construction of the Foul Sewer Network inside Doha (under the catchment area of PS 31 & PS 5)
The Project’s total Value is QAR 550 m and will be completed in 44 months.
Overall responsibility for all Procurement for Project Sites, Plant yards & Various departments, etc.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for all procurement for Project Sites, Plant Yard & Other departments.
Manage and oversees the complete operations of Procurement and Logistics and its team from the time of receipt of Client order till the completion of the project.
Preparing approved vendors list, request for quotations/ proposals based on Project specification, drawings, and BOQ.
Receiving quotations and preparing comparison statements both technical & commercial.
Review and develop the Procurement Strategy across the organization to deliver the target benefits and financial savings.
Order Processing and following up with suppliers independently and totally responsible to arrange and procure all project and office-related tools, machinery, material, equipment, and services.
Implement and drive procurement strategies in order to meet cost savings targets. Long term Agreements Rates to minimize the number of orders and maximize savings
Responds to ongoing projects, for either immediate and planned, material or service requirements, from Site Engineers/Project Managers, by contacting relevant suppliers; arrange and procure samples as per specifications, obtain approval from Project Manager/Site Engineer for procurement, and arrange for its delivery, unloading, storing at the site.
Manage the Storekeepers across all projects and ensure adequate reporting mechanisms

Coordinating with the shipping teams at the plants and warehouses for timely servicing of Customer orders by ensuring the availability of stocks, people, and vehicles.
Responsible for disposing of all scrap upon site demobilization or as required by the management.
Entire responsible for WOQOD Fuel all the services Like New contract opening / LV Hiring / Woqod vehicle inspection and service / Closing Contract
Maintain ISO standard Procurement procedures. / Basic Conceptual Idea about ISO Procedures & ISO 14001.
Train team on effective procurement processes and strategy

Cost Reduction in Transportation Charges due to Proper Planning of Material inward and Outward.
JIT and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) concepts. Identified areas to cut cost by analyzing the impact of removing SKUs as well as evaluating shipping direct vs. stocking inventory
