• Payroll: ERP Processing and Verification of Employee related Payments and Accounting, Co-ordinating with HR on discrepancies in Payments & Accounting Issues & Resolving them in a timely manner. Reconciliations of various employee receivable & payable accounts.
• Inventory, Fuel Coupons Verification: Sequential verification of fuel coupons utilized at various fuelling stations with physical Delivery Notes. Following up on Fuel Delivery Shortages for subsequent Cash Refund.
• Inventory related Entries: Inventory generated entries accounting, verification & validation. Ensuring inventory clearing accounts are nullified on a monthly basis by transferring balances to respective Inter Company accounts.
• Validation Process: Verification, Rectification & subsequent Validation of ERP related Supplier Invoices, Inter Company Invoices, Accrual Invoices, Petty Cash Invoices, Employee Payments etc….
• P&L & GL Review: Review of various P&L & GL Accounts after month end financial close and processing Rectification entries accordingly.
• Debt Recovery Services Negotiations & Analysis: Negotiating with prospective clients on debt recovery claims, client accounts analysis, finalization of offers and approval of debt collection contracts accordingly.
• International Debt Collections: Forward and Accept Debt Claims to & from Debt Service Collection Companies worldwide, Following up for payment of outstanding claims and initiating appropriate steps to finalize outstanding claims.
• Credit Rating: Ratings Coordinator involved in Issuer Ratings (Corporate Ratings) and Securitization Exercise (Receivables Rating).
• Ageing Consumer Portfolio Debt Analysis: Gathering portfolio information on the debtors, Setting up Ageing Rules, Applying Ageing Analysis Techniques and Valuation of the Portfolio. Portfolio updated on an ongoing basis and weekly/monthly analysis reports provided.
• Ratio Analysis: Hands on experience in application of financial ratios and analysis.
• Financial Statements: Monthly preparation of Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Financial Ratios, Operating Summary (Group-wise) & Inventory Summary (Group-wise).
• Financial Reviews & Forecasts: Consolidation of data from various Operating Groups for preparing Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Financial Ratios, Operating Summary (Group-wise) & Inventory Summary (Group-wise), for the purpose of short term and long term forecasts.
• Loans, Deposits & Forwards: Accounting for Loans, Deposits & Forwards, Ensuring interest accruals are made on all Loans & Deposits. Revaluation of all outstanding Foreign Currency Loans & Deposits and ensuring it tallies with General Ledger on a monthly basis.
• Fixed Assets: Review of approved fixed expenditure and capitalization or expensing accordingly. Ensuring monthly depreciation is charged on all existing fixed assets. Reconciliation of Fixed Assets Register with General Ledger. Physical Assets verification accordingly.
• Foreign & Local Suppliers: Ensuring payments are made to suppliers based on credit terms & conditions & accounted in respective month. Ensuring revaluation is done on all outstanding foreign supplier payables. Reconciliations of foreign & local supplier accounts.
• Cash & Banks: Ensuring Cash Collections tally with Head Office Receipts & Bank Deposits and are correctly accounted, Bank accounting & reconciliations and Petty Cash accounting & reconciliations.
