The company recently started their activities in Jebel Ali Free zone.
I source potential clients and suppliers by visiting exhibitions, analyze market reports, cold calls and study various media. This way I already found several European producers of CNC machinery, measuring equipment, tools and lubricants/coolants, which had actually no representation in the GCC/MENA region and negotiated agency agreements into place.
Followed by mailings and cold calls, I visit potential clients to represent ACRIBIA’s product range and establish potential points of sales and services.

Truesea Services is producing none rated doors, windows and bathroom units to the Offshore and Marine Industries.
I visited EPC contractors, Subcontractors, shipyards, ship owners, architects, turnkey solution providers, introduced the product range and registered the companies where required as potential supplier (ADMA, ADNOC, GASCO, ZADCO..etc)
Beside the Truesea sales & business development activities, I was on Freelance basis representing three internationally recognised companies, producing fire-rated and certified architectural products for Offshore, Oil & Gas, as well as Marine applications.
Based on requests and technical specifications, I did and approved MTO’s (Material Take Out) and prepared accordingly quotations, presented to the respective clients, negotiated and closed the deal. After-Sales visits and side training belonged also to my duties.
For all involved companies I prepared Marketing Plans and Sales Forecasts.

Future Technologies strength is to provide tailor made Water Treatment Solutions.
I started to use my old contacts in the Offshore, Oil & Gas and Marine Industries to create Brand Awareness and secure enquiries.
Based on market request, I developed, together with the local Project Managers and our colleagues in Germany, 2 new product lines, a simplified water maker for ships and offshore platforms and a mobile, solar powered river-water treatment plant.
Beside many small and medium sized orders, I had a great success by securing a multimillion order for an advanced treatment plant to Technip Abu Dhabi, without being on makers list. By intensive visits and building up a tight relation, I obtained together with Technip an approval from Qatar Oil for the FMB project.

Specialist Services started in 1983, supplying container based accommodations to the Oil & Gas companies in Abu Dhabi and offer nowadays a complete range of containerized solutions, Offshore Buildings, Process Equipment and much more.
Specialist Services also keeps the highest number of container hire units for temporary purposes.
My duties were to increase the number of offshore contracts and to develop sales of Windows, Doors, GRP Bathrooms and Fire- & Blast Walls.
I became also responsible for the training of sales staff at the recently opened offices in Singapore, covering Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. Together with the new salesperson, we visited and introduced Specialist Services to the key players in the area.
My biggest successes obtained, were contract on refurbishment of Total Platform in Abu Dhabi, a multimillion order on blast rated doors for KNPC, full shipset of bathroom units for Qatar and complete replacement of doors for a ship owned by the Sultan of Oman.

Inexa belonged previously to the Rockwool Group of Denmark and produced Walls, Ceilings, Doors, Bathroom Units, Floating Floors, mm for Marine and Offshore accommodations.
As the new CEO, my duties were multiple and I started with the re-establishment of the company after a previous bankruptcy. After successful negotiations with the trustees, I secured the patents and certificates, needed as a basis to restart production in the purpose built factory in Nantong/China.
Many former clients and agents knew me from my previous employment with Inexa (1994-1999) and we negotiated reasonable compensations/agreements for losses occurred to them due to the bankruptcy.
I appointed new staff to secure full functionality of offices in Denmark and production in China, where I expanded with a new door production line and streamlined the production flow for wall panels and ceilings.
Beside all my administrating duties and P/L responsibility, I actively visited key accounts all over the world and secured some significant interiors orders, such as the public spaces on UK aircraft carriers, series of containerships in Croatia, conversion of Petrobras P58 FPSO, Sevan Driller China and many more. As I handed over the company in 2011, the company had a multimillion order book and a positive balance sheet.

HOH Water Technology, a very successful Danish Water Treatment company, was
2003 acquired by the internationally recognised Best Water Technologies AG.
I joined HOH beginning 2001 and built up a network of dealers and agents for
RO plants, filtration and softeners. Based on collected market requests I was suggesting and leading the development of a new small Reverse Osmosis plant, suitable for industrial kitchens, printing presses and air humidifiers for supermarkets.
After the acquisition in 2003, I was working more internationally, were often in the BWT headquarter in Austria for product trainings and to adapt the product range.
In Denmark, I was meanwhile still responsible for the team of 12 external and 3 internal sales engineers, as well as 25 service engineers.
Some of my biggest successes achieved, were multiyear frame order agreements with Meiko, Hobart and Winterhalter for their commercial and industrial kitchen applications.

My most important key accounts were Varta Batteries Group, Philip Morris (Marlboro Suisse), P&G Group and all SCA production facilities worldwide.
Beside the direct sales activities, I also established a well-functioning Dealer Network throughout Europe to ensure full cover to customer requests.

Inexa Panel, producer of Marine and Offshore Interiors, belonged to the Inexa Steel Group of Sweden and previously acquired from Rockwool International.
I started in the technical department, specified orders and prepared production codes. After only 2 months, I moved to sales department and took over responsibility for Germany, UK, France, Italy, Croatia and UAE.
I visited shipyards, ship owners, architects, turnkey solution providers and consulting companies and had big success by securing the very first cruise vessel orders for the company at German yards Meyerwerft and Lloydwerft.
Some of my other successes achieved were 6 destroyers type T45 for UK, 24 container vessels for Russian owner built in Croatia, series of 24 Container Vessels at Thyssen Nordseewerke, 12 container vessels at Volkswerft Stralsund, a Maersk Offshore platform built at NPCC/Abu Dhabi and many more

I was headhunted from my previous position at Messma Kelch, who was a competitor. By carrying out an aggressive visit schedule, I could move some of my previous clients and secured some significant orders at Volkswagen.
Based on my knowledge to competitors measuring machines I was deeply involved in development of new machine range, manuals and service instructions.

Messma Kelch was an international acknowledged supplier of high quality Measuring Machines to various metal processing industries (automotive, machinery, weapon, and mm) as well as supplier of robots for automatization.
The company invested in a Demo bus, having three measuring machines installed.
I was visiting with the bus potential clients throughout Europe. This was a very effective sales tool and several times, I returned from a trip with an empty bus, as I sold the machines after demonstration to the clients.
I did also several installations and start-ups of sold machines, so as in Indonesia, Egypt, South Africa and many European destinations.

Beside the assembling department, I also worked for the service department and carried out many international maintenance jobs on transformers & switchgears.
