Project: OXAGON Port Project - Part of the NEOM project, OXAGON is strategically positioned to contribute
to the development of NEOM. OXAGON port is located in the centre of OXAGON and will provide a major gateway for the supply of goods into NEOM and beyond. The project will expand the existing ports ability to handle cargo and logistics while maintaining the ambitious sustainability and
technological requirements required under the vision of NEOM. (Project Value - 3 Billion Saudi
Riyals).
Client: NEOM Company.
Duties: Responsible for the overall commercial management of the project and guiding the execution team into delivering the project in accordance with the Main Contract whilst proactively monitoring and
controlling any commercial exposure. Summary of duties include:
Responsible for the commercial management of Main Contract
Implementing commercial processes and procedures
Delegation and management of commercial team
Oversight of procurement processes, subcontracting and tendering strategies
Reporting to corporate Commercial Director
Responsible for preparing and agreeing variations and extensions of time with Client
Managing partners within a dynamic project structure (JV partner & Consortium partner)
Responsible for proactively reviewing and managing project/contractor exposure and risk
Chair Client commercial meetings
Consistently reviewing and evolving project procedures and processes to improve efficiency
Project: Numerous multi-billion Saudi Riyal construction and O&M projects for military and private Clients across Saudi Arabia.
Primary Client(s): BAE Systems / The Royal Saudi Air Force / Royal Saudi Navy / Aramco.
Duties: Focused on achieving company milestones whilst meeting the Client’s requirements. Tasked with the commercial control and management of the Main Contract, including Subcontracts for various projects across Saudi Arabia, responsible for preparing and overseeing the negotiation of variation orders, extensions of time, conducting cost analysis, settling disputes and chairing Client/management meetings. High-level involvement in the oversight and submission of company tenders, establishing procurement and subcontracting strategies at the outset of new construction and O&M projects, including the preparation of Subcontract packages for tendering and negotiations, including the preparation of bespoke and standard form Subcontract agreements with emphasis on risk exposure and project requirements. Summary of duties include:
• Commercial management of Main Contract
• Oversight of procurement, subcontracting and tendering strategies
• Team leadership throughout the preparation, negotiation and management of Subcontracts and Consultancy Agreements
• Reporting to Commercial Director
• Responsible for variations and extensions of time
• Establish procurement strategies and oversee the subcontractor evaluation process
• Review and manage company exposure and risk
• Use of primarily FIDIC contracts amongst other standard and bespoke contract forms utilised inhouse and by Clients
Project: Security Forces Medical City in Riyadh and Jeddah - Two healthcare complexes, each occupying an area of approximately 2.5 km2. Each complex comprises a 1, 700-bed hospital covering a built-up area of 500, 000m2, including a residential zone with a built-up area of 500, 000m2 for 12, 000 occupants, recreational facilities (i.e. football stadium, sports centre, running track, swimming pools and shopping complex) and all associated utility and infrastructure facilities (Project Value - 21 Billion Saudi Riyals).
Client: Saudi Arabian Government - Ministry of Interior
Duties: Tasked with high-level involvement, often as a co-leader, to support the commercial department with its strategy and approach to resolving issues under the Main Contract and Subcontracts supported by a large QS, cost control and planning team. Fully responsible for the administration of SAR 350m+ design consultancy agreements with a consortium of renowned international designers. Focused throughout on successfully achieving project milestones for all involved Stakeholders and Shareholders. Summary of duties include:
• Support senior QS and Commercial Manager
• Contract administration
• Team leadership
• Preparation, negotiation and agreement of extensions of time
• Analyse project cost, budget and forecasts
• Preparation, submission and agreement of monthly valuations
• Design verification and measuring completed works
• Client management
• Preparation of tender and contractual documents
• Preparation of executive reports and attending high-level meetings
• Reporting to Project Directors
• Manage project exposure and risk
• Preparation, submission and negotiation of variations
• Prepare financial reports and cash flow forecasts
Project: Replacement Waste Water Infrastructure for Jubail City
Client: Marafiq Utility Company
Duties:
• Support QS team and Senior QS
• Contract administration
• Analyse project cost, budget and forecasts
• Preparation of tender and contractual documents
• Preparation of executive reports
• Contract negotiation
• Progress reporting
• Preparation and submission of monthly valuations
• Analysis, preparation, and submission of variations
• Monitoring and managing baseline schedule
Project: Install and Commission numerous Oil & Gas flow lines. (30 Million USD).
Client: Aramco
Responsible for client coordination and contract management for the supply, installation and commissioning of robotic, storage, conveyor and IT systems in large production facilities throughout Europe.
