Responsibilities
* Installation & Configuration of Linux Server & PCs on network LAN & CAN.
* Maintenance and troubleshooting of Linux Server & PCs on network LAN & CAN.
* Installation and configuration & maintenance of Firewall Server.
* Supporting and Maintaining of Linux Softwares developed by CAIR and Attending day -
to-day user’s problem and Server Level Problems both telephonic, on-site & remote sup-
port.
* Monitoring & maintenance of MDA servers and database system at Operational Centres.
* Monitoring network status and traffic discipline & management of operational networks.
* Monitoring availability of additional web services of APEX & MSIS over Trigun network to
operational centres
* Assistance and On-site/Telephonic support for additional applications of MDA with inte-
gration of other communication equipments Hurricane Server, SDA Server, MSS Server,
LINK-II Server, Radar, ELTA, SERIAL Server, SMART-F Server, UAV Server, VLF
Server.
* Provide On-site support for ships at Harbor, coordinating weekly Plot transfer and mes-
saging trials.
* Resolution of MDA/ Trigun issues (Plot Transfer/Messaging ) and telephonic support for
NCO operators on ships at sea at all times.
* Ensuring continuous MDA / Trigun availability at L&M Islands including On-site support
when required.
* Providing technical support towards installation and maintenance of Knowledge based
Management Portal developed by Navy & CAIR over Trigun network.

experience Installation, Integration, Configuration, Monitoring, Load Balancing, Maintenance
and Troubleshooting on various kinds of Servers like DELL, HP & Firewall Systems and

* Installation & configuration of printers with Ubuntu.
* Installation and configuration of Network printers in LAN & CAN.
* Installation and maintenance of Additional Domain Controller LAN & CAN.
* Configuration & troubleshooting network switches CISCO 24/48 Port & Routers.
* Provide network hardware support for layout of OFC/UTP/STP Cable, IO Boxes/Ports)
* Managing of Network Shares (Windows, Linux).

hands-on experience Installation, Configuration, Maintenance and Troubleshooting on various
kinds of Servers like BLADE, IBM, DELL, PCS, HP. Configuring & Managing ADC on LAN/CAN
and also deal with network switches CISCO L2, L3 & Routers
