·Design of installation of Motor operated Valves (MOV) and integration to plant TDC 2000 DCS for Safaniya onshore gas-oil separation plant.
·Control system for the oily water recovery system for the Safaniya onshore gas-oil separation plant.
·Design of Emergency Shutdown System for Offshore wellhead platforms and remote indication to well shutdown status to DCS of the nearest offshore GOSP of the Zuluf and Marjan fields.
·Design of Fire & Gas alarm panel for Marjan offshore Gas compression plant R07.
·Design of vibration and temperature monitoring sytem (based on Bently Nevada 3500) and interface to the plant DCS (Honeywell TDC 3000) through CLM module at Marjan Offshore Gas compression plant R07.
·Design of pump control system for foam concentrate pump at Marjan GOSP-2 (G77) and 3 (G78) offshore plant.
·Design of pump control system for dead well revival pump at the offshore plant Zuluf GOSP-4.
·Design of fire alram system based on projected beam smoke detectors for Substations 11, 12 and RO plant and remote indication to DCS (Honeywell TDC 2000) at the Safaniya onshore gas-oil separation plant.
·Design of new Emergency Shutdown System using TRICONEX TMR PLC and it’s interface with the plant DCS (Honeywell TDC 3000) for Marjan GOSP-3 offshore plant, replacing the existing hardwired conventional system.
·Design of new DCS ( Honeywell TDC 3000) controlled Pressure control valves for Tanajib utilities plant, replacing the existing self-regulated control valves of the Fire water discharge recycle line.
·Design of installation of new gas fuel shut-off valve and liquid fuel shut-off valves for the Rolls Royce Power generators
·Design of anti-surge control system for gas compressors and interface to the plant DCS (TDC 3000) of the Safaniya Gas compression plant R74.

• Involved in control system upgrade of an offshore oil and gas separation plant, debottlenecking of GTL plant, modification of wellhead control systems
• Strategically delivered engineering support for the implementation of drilling schedule for various oil production wells, water injection, water supply and production debottlenecking of offshore oil fields
• Contributed to troubleshooting of remote re-starting of offshore well-head platform by identifying problems related to communication of signals via subsea fibre-optic cable and legacy hardware
• Highlighted the improving reliability of the fibre optic network by replacing legacy communication hardware and use of redundant ring communication network using SDH multiplexers
• Received appreciation from the client for the commendable efforts in implementing of modifications and upgrade projects as a team
The work includes, but not limited to the analysis of the work, preparation of Instrument loop diagrams, Piping & Instrument diagrams, logic diagrams, control schematic diagrams, specification sheets, material take-off lists, purchase requisition documents, expenditure request estimation, etc.; integration of a new system to an existing plant; evaluation and selection of instruments and control systems (including DCS and PLC) based on specific requirements and in compliance with relevant engineering standards; field engineering support that includes generation of drawings and associated engineering documents like specification sheets to suit specific construction requirements; As-building existing plant instrumentation and control system. Well familiar with the architecture and operation of the Honeywell TDC 2000 & TDC 3000 Distributed Control Systems. Updated with the latest trends and technology in the Instrumentation and Process control industry through the independent learning modules and journal of Instrument, Systems & Automation Society (ISA)
The work involved the following activities:
·Leading a team of technicians for the operation and maintenance of an oil/gas separation plant.
·Scheduling and monitoring of routine maintenance of process control instrumentation and control system of an oil/gas separation plant and on-shore wellheads (HI-LO safety valves of the well head Christmas tree).
·Inspection and maintenance of oil drilling rig instruments like mudflow console, totalizer, weight indicator, Tong pull indicator. SPM meter, RPM meter, torque indicator, etc
·Analysis and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control system.
