Responsibilities:
• Apply guiding principles in working with children, being guided by the best interest of the child in all actions all times.
• Assess risks, needs and strengths and develop the appropriate response in consultation with the child and/or his
caregiver.
• Work with children, families, and carers to implement actions determined to ensure the safety, stability, and
development of the child.
• Document all case management activities in the appropriate client record in a timely manner, using the CPIMS+.
• Developing and implementing individualized case management plans for children at risk or survivors of abuse, exploitation, or neglect.
• Providing counseling, psychosocial support, and referrals to appropriate services for children and their families.
• Collaborating with other agencies and stakeholders to ensure a coordinated response and holistic care for children in need of protection.
• Monitoring and evaluating the progress of cases and advocating for the rights and best interests of the child.
