Technical Training Workshop
• In 2012 established and managed Technical Training workshops for the UAE national graduates.
• Engaged a reputable international service provider (ECITB - UK government body) to provide technical program and international certification and qualification.
• In 2010 setup ES Vocational Training Centre in VEDC (part of ACTIVET) for the high school sponsored students in tailored technical program.

Training Strategy
• Developed a comprehensive training and development strategy and programme for the company in order to maintain a motivated and skilled workforce.
• Developed a training plan and training calendar in line with performance management system.
• Monitoring training progress and constantly strive to improve the effectiveness of training delivered.
• Prepare and gain approval for the accurate training budget as a basis for ensuring that adequate resources exist, to meet present and future identified training requirements.
• Coach and train employees to excel the performance level and provide structured career path of the individual program.
• Initiated programs for higher and mid management level (ILM, CILT, CIPS, Nebosh and LDI) across the organisation.

Business Development
• Responsible for short and long term training plan for the organisation
• Identifying new academic strategic partners for the Emirates Steel.
• Marketing organisation with campaigns and networking
• Present and consult with mid and senior level management on current business trends with a view to developing new strategy and opportunities in attracting young talents and improving the existing workforce skill sets
• Formalizing new contracts and agreements and MOU with potential strategic partners
• Provide executive report and presentations periodically
• Cost optimizing planning and solution in order to keep up company's budgets

Career Development Program
• Planning and implementing National development program for 134 UAE nationals with technical training program and assist the employees in acquiring upgrade the target group skill sets
• Designing and developing Graduate Program that can be driven independently and systematically with maximum output.
• Active role of integrating national trainees in the plant and providing bridging development requirements.
• Facilitating training programs to potential successors for their new assignments
• Introducing executive level development program for the higher management.

Talent Management
• Responsible for 140 sponsored students in various institutes and streams of education (bachelor level to high schools technical and non technical fields)
• Scouting and identifying potential sponsored students through various structured marketing campaigns and networking throughout the year.
• Monitoring and counselling sponsored students on their academic performance.
• Responsible for the students payrolls and adjustments periodically
• Recommending higher management for the incentive and benefits for the sponsored students stipends
• Liaising with plant operation management for the work placement & summer training programs
• Providing overseas summer campaign proposals for the deserving sponsored students to the management
• Introducing and implementing international accreditation certification program for blue collar UAE technicians.

Training Delivery
• Implementing innovative and creative training program that meets the development needs of the company.
• Liaise closely with all departments in development, planning, presenting and evaluating training and development programs.
• Manage and administer Staff Development Education programs in line with the organizational/departmental career progression or succession plans.
• Ensure all required compliance training and reporting activities occur within required timeframes.
• Annually revised the existing program with the team and support employee relations staff
• Implemented E- learning for employees to cultivate self learning and development culture within organization
• Ensures the implementation of operational policies covering all areas of training and career development section so that all relevant procedural / legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a cost - effective service to the company.
• Identifying employees training and development needs through job analysis, appraisal schemes and training needs assessment programs etc.
• Designing, training and development programs based on the organization's needs in coordination with external training organizations and Department/Line Managers.
• Managing development of training materials for in-house courses and/or in-consultation with external trainers.
• Planning and organizing training sessions in consultation with trainer and facilitate training sessions as and when required.
• Assessing the effectiveness of training design and delivery methods; Review the progress of trainees by using questionnaires and discussing the same with Managers.
