Invited by the Board of a Private Equity company, Change Partners, to manage the business, including the P&L in order to guarantee sales growth of 30% and EBITDA of 45%. I was focused on the strategic planning, marketing, its international implementation and strategic partnerships creation.

Led a team of 5 international MBA students to deliver a revenue sharing model that covers multi-disciplinary aspects that may incentivise TNT’s 170 agent countries to grow, in order to create a win-win deal between both parties.
The deliverable consisted of market research mainly through primary research, including more than 100 interviews among TNT and agents’ managers and also end-customers; excel modelling to integrate the different influential aspects and scenario analysis. Analysed different franchising models. We travelled to 9 countries within Europe, LATAM and AMEA.
Elaborated Business Plans and Memorandums, Non-disclosure agreements and Teasers for different portfolios and assets located in Europe, for international private equity investors. Each portfolio/asset was valued up to €120M.
Conducted deal originations, undertook market research and due diligence, contacted potential investors, finance modelling including cash flows and valuations and, provided quantitative and qualitative investment recommendations.
Assets and portfolios related to the hospitality sector, mainly 5-star hotels, luxury resorts and real estate.
Managed a team of 5 international MBA students to deliver a Market Entry Strategy in the Middle East report, analysing in depth the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
The deliverable consisted of market research through primary and secondary researches, analysis and recommendations, which included the entry strategy and also an implementation plan for the next 3 years.
Approached by groups of private investors from Angola, South Africa and Libya to evaluate property development projects in Angola and South Africa, ranging from $4M to $11M.
Analysed the projects location, technical solutions, planning and cash flows. Proposed location and development alternatives considering the type of project in order to maximize their ROI. Supported my clients on contracts’ negotiations.
Delivered successful technical optimizations leading to the decrease of costs and project complexity. Consistently saved 10% to 20% of projects’ budget estimation, improving investors’ cash flows.
Managed a $3Bn project to build 15 new cities totalising 40k affordable houses, including infrastructures and public services. Directed all planning and cost control co-ordinating over 100 stakeholders, including project managers, contractors and suppliers from different nationalities to ensure compliance with planning protocols. Implemented periodical meetings, forms and procedures to improve decision-making. Reported all developments directly to the CEO.
Developed and launched tender processes at different phases of each project/city - E.g. Infrastructures, Buildings. Negotiated different contracts ranging $1M to $50M for more than 20 contractors, conducting all required due diligence.
Led the co-ordination of all international shipments related to construction materials and improved the process to provide the status of each shipment. Ensured the correct information and updates were provided to the appropriate project manager in order to maximise efficiency of the construction sites and its contract management.
Successfully conducted the obtaining of legal documentation (Right of the Land, Plot and Construction Licenses, others) and established an excellent representation of the company in some Angolan Governmental Institutions.
Provided information to the Vital Investment Impact Fund; the main funder being a partnership with the Angolan Government and the President; including the process of the fund’s admissions to a regulated non-governmental entity for investment impact funds ratings - GIIRS, communicating with people in Kenya, Israel and South Africa.
Invited by the CEO to become the General Manager of a company with a project of 3k affordable houses distributed throughout 4 Provinces of Angola. Prepared a business plan, met the client in order to negotiate the contract’s value - assuring 40% of net profits, contacted potential sub-contractors and created a team for managing this project.
Negotiated lease contracts for eight retail mega-stores and a central distribution centre. Managed circa 30 people.
Analysed and studied different land areas for prospective real estate, retail and automotive projects and held conversations with Governmental and Provincial Angolan Entities.
Created 12 new retail businesses and implemented three. Benchmarked, hired designers and architects to create concepts and designs for brand names and logos for the new stores, including its products.
Delivered the feasibility analysis, including financial modelling for new multi-million $ projects in the Real Estate, Retail and Automotive industries. Analysed costs, location, benefits and risks and reported this back to the Investments Director and Administration. The different assets were financed through investment funds, in some cases managed by me with the support of an accountant.
Led 4 multi-million $ projects including stakeholder mediation, to successfully close each project. Implemented modifications and improvements to achieve total budget savings of 5% to 10%.
Conducted the expansion plan of a countrywide retail chain. Contracted designers to renovate and create new stores whilst ensuring the successful rebranding project of the company.
Headed two on-going projects for a private school and hotel; evaluated costs, materials and planning and co-ordinated site managers and designers in order to progress the developments without increasing costs.
Managed the development of new retail businesses to implement in a new mega-store, including the different stores’ brands, images and layouts. Businesses: cash & carry, food, appliances, home décor and children’s store.

Real Estate: 32 Luxury villas/$45M, 155k ft2. Four-star Hotel/$40M, 138 rooms. Residential building/$20M, 69.4k ft2.
Retail: Retail complex/$50M, 173.3k ft2, project comprised of a central distribution warehouse, a factory to supply eight countrywide mega-stores, all associated logistics platforms and a mega-store with various stores.
New Cash & Carry/$17M, 49.5k ft2, developed a new project to be implemented countrywide.
Services: Private school/$48M, 215.3k ft2.
Automotive: Car and truck centre complex for international brands: Nissan, Honda, Renault, Peugeot and others/$42M, 186.2k ft2, included 5 showrooms, workshops and parts, car and trucks repairs and paintings, among other buildings.
New Car Centre/$13M, 33.4k ft2, developed a new project to be implemented countrywide.
Led the site management, tender and negotiation processes for a €250K and a €1.6M accommodation projects. Managed teams of 60+ people each and 100+ suppliers. Reported directly to the Production Manager and CEO.
Analysed and negotiated budgets for industrial projects worth €7.5M and €4M, ensuring project’s optimization and quality.
I coordinated and supervised campaigns from different advertising and marketing agencies;
