 Prepare detail work plans (physical plan, budget spending plan, working schedules and procurement plans)
 Ensure that water provided to the refugees meets minimum WHO water quality standards and monitor for presence of optimum dose of residual chlorine at the end user premises
 Design, prepare Bill of Quantities and design drawing and oversee construction of different water systems as identified during assessment and prepared designs (Water and sanitation facilities
 Coordinate with the relevant partners and refugee community towards locating of water supply system structures;
 Monitor & supervise water supply systems structures construction which include service reservoir, public tap stands, pipe laying of pressure mains & distribution networks etc;
 Support the water quality officer to conduct water quality test training for the system care takers quarterly and ensure the water quality test date are collected and filed
 Initiate procurement towards purchase of the required items for construction of water supply system;
 Participate on meetings regarding water supply activities in the camp as advised by the supervisor;
 Facilitate in documenting water supply construction related data and keep records of water supply activities
 Supervision of on-force & all contracted activities such as HFST( Horizontal Flow Sedimentation Tank), RSF( Rapid Sand Filter), Mixing chamber, Masonry reservoir, intake structures, Tap stands, installation of pioneer tanks, Generator house, Anchor blocks, pipe lines, communal latrine, public latrine construction, and warehouse construction presenting at site level during the construction.
 Assist the Program Manager to oversee stores management and liaise with the logistic in Mlakdeda office to ensure that bi-weekly checks are made on site stores and stock materials record (including cement, wood poles, CI sheets, nails, stones, sand, gravel, lockers, hinges, purlins etc.)
 Plan and supervise daily progress of construction activities of, contractors, carpenters, masons or daily laborers at site level.
 Prepare records of all construction progress, commencement & completion date, as built construction and actual expenditures of the completed structures.
 Facilitate the implementation of annual KPC survey conducted at the camp level.
 Attend sector camp level meeting with IPs
 Prepare monthly progress reports and submit for the program manager
 Perform other tasks as assigned by his supervisor
