Coordinate and direct the operations of an armed security force for both internal and external areas of the Air Terminal located at the US Embassy Baghdad, Iraq Support Center (BDSC) that encompasses both access control and perimeter security. Brief, inspect, train and direct assigned guard force. Supervise ID control and Access Badge issue. Provide recommendations to company management and/or Department Of State on improving area security posture.
Responsible for supporting the maintenance of M1A1 tanks assigned to an Armored Division and a Separate Armored Brigade, totaling 10 battalions (313 Tanks). Provided technical and operational training to Egyptian maintenance personnel at battalion, brigade and division level. Activities included troubleshooting, diagnostics, adjustments, replacements, repair, part identification and maintenance advice and training.

Managed the overall coordination of maintenance, repair parts, FSR rotation and movement, and logistics reporting. Provided technical support to all FSRs and provided a reach-back capability to Manufacturer for supply, maintenance and engineering support. Responsible for the management and administrative supervision of 88 employees. Also responsible for coordination with the Joint Program Office (Forward) and other OEM’s in the program for training and repair of their vehicles.
Coordinated and directed convoys for the Multinational Security Transition Command - Iraq. Planned, coordinated and directed convoy security elements in Southern Iraq from port of Umm Qasr and Kuwaiti border to various points north. Coordinated operations between Program Managers and Major US and British Army Commands in the region. Inspected convoys, convoy security elements and border control sites as necessary. Managed business relations and special projects. Assigned, inspected and directed up to 8 mobile security teams totaling 96 men and a fixed security site team of 15 men. Responsible for facility care, maintenance and security.
Coordinated and conducted all training, repair and scheduling for laser training devices. Responsible for assigned engineers, interpreters and warehouse personal. Repaired and programmed and calibrated at system level Gunnery Simulation Systems, Laser Engagement Systems and Tank Gunfire Simulators. Managed and supported systems in garrison, on the range, in the field and at remote sites. Responsible for facility and all operations within the facility. Directed company size elements during issue, mounting, dismounting and turn-in.
