• Obtain brief from the end user and identify the end user’s requirements
• Provide technical and professional guidance to departments
• Evaluate requirements for external consultants on individual projects
• Assisting supply-chain management, analysing the credentials of potential contractors
• Program Performance & Performance Management to board governance
• Oversee production drawings/specifications to ensure all regulations and standards are adhered to.
• Project Management, Contract Negotiations, Management & Audits & Compliance.
• Provide leadership to all department in the area of defining and planning projects lifecycle
• Delineates roles & responsibilities for the Project Team, EPC, Contractors and Sub-contractors
• Provide recommendations to staffing of projects where deficient of competencies/manpower applies
• Budget Development & Planning, People Management & Teamwork integration, Analyse contractor bids with supply-chain management, make recommendations to the tender board.
• Assist supply-chain to value engineer the appointed contractors bid, in compliance with board governance.
• Contract administration, through to issuing the Purchase Order
• Attend pre-site and site meetings for the duration of the project, liaising with internal and external professionals and advise on QA/QC and HSQE policies.
• Provide independent professional consultancy advice and guidance.
• Track and monitor site progress and produce reports in industry standardised formats which can be utilised throughout the departments and be presented at weekly progress meetings
• Monitor site progress and issue payment certificates to enable payment to contractors including final handover certificates.
• Initiate department meetings to identify possible improvements that can be initiated to improve project delivery.
• Influential negotiator disciplined in business processes, assemble and analyse contract bids and project methods.
• Successful track record in delivering challenging projects in demanding environments.
• Exposure to working in multinational teams and working with international PMC’s/Contracting and FM companies.
