Financial Planning and Management
• Provide timely and accurate budget forecasting to ensure business is on track to deliver on budget.
• SBU revenue streams analysis and trending for input into business strategy
• Cash flow management, projections, and analysis.
• Stock/inventory/asset management and analysis.
• Business costs management in line with SBU and Group budgets
• Business projects and or investments evaluation to achieve return on investment.
• Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
• Provide support to SBU head for business modelling and risk assessments.

Financial Analysis and Reporting
• Provide accurate, timeous, informative, and insightful schedules, management accounts, board packs and related financial reports.
• Analyse and report on scheduled (weekly and monthly) revenue and PBT dashboards and proactively extend commentary/interpretation and recommended course of action.
• Analyse cost drivers, pricing, variable contributions, sales trends and the SBUs actual performance compared to the business plans.
• Develop and maintain trends and projections for the SBUs finances.
• Create and manage product/service pricing models to maximize revenue opportunities.

Compliance & Risk Management
• Proactively identify business and financial risk and propose to mitigate the same.
• Enhance controls for the SBU and compliance with the same to safeguard business revenue and bottom-line.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation
• Coordinate and Liaise with both internal and external auditors to ensure timely reporting of year end results.

Finance Administration
• Ensures all reconciliations are completed and cleared within stipulated times;
• Maintains accurate and complete books of accounts and properly accounts for all income, and expenses, assets and liabilities;
• Monitors budgets performance and variance and initiates corrective action.
• Establishes, maintains, and coordinates the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures;
• Reviews creditors, bank and general ledger reconciliations.
• Managing key stakeholder relationships i.e. external auditors, bankers, regulators
