Key Activities

Roles and responsibilities:- To manage and maintain the effective & and safety work environment of the Warehouse operations and coordinate with distribution centre in Kingdom wide & GCC for total logistics distribution functions.
Overseer both old and new poultry processing plant’s warehouse, and make sure all the shipment to be dispatch according to schedule dispatch plan.
Maintain interrelated Supply Chain relationships between certain functions and ensuring value added support and service, Transport activity arrangements both internal and external customers.
Over looking Capital Project and setting up temperature control warehouses with fully racking for safe work working environment.
Preparing operational SOPs and review existing related to new plant operations
Prepare strategic plan to develop SAP R3 - WMS automated systems by coordinating with IT & SAP support team, shoot to new plant operations.\
Monitoring MHE and other requirements & health & safety activities in operation and raise CAPEX and further process of PR
Team member of ISO 22000 implementation in Transport & logistics Dept

Strategic business solution for Centralizing the existing multi Clients Logistic centres with modern warehouse facility
Responsible for the planning and implementation of continues improving total Warehousing distribution, purchasing budgeting and controlling of retails shop bulk warehouses and yards of below companies
Monitoring of total fleet management approving the quotation for the all maintenance (for 100 vehicles)
Confirm to accounts payable department in HO the receiving of indent items into the different warehouses, seeking clarification of warehouse in charges
Monitoring total purchasing process and approving purchase orders for all local purchasing Guide, Motivate and coaching of Sales and Marketing staff for better performance.

To monitor warehousing and distribution operations of Nestle Lanka, Reckkitt Bencisher, Lanka Commodities and another 15 clients at two multi logistics centres Island wide.
Monitoring all the KPI’s those agreed with clients to measures performance of all clients.
Establish KPI’s to monitor Transporter service levels and control cost
Monitor multiple operating functions at the logistics centre facility and maintenance 3PL
Analyse and develop cost effective logistics solutions by identifying best-in-class logistics processes for current customer base and new business opportunities. Co-ordinate and maintain a good relationship with support services i.e.
Internal: Supply chain, Purchasing, Factory, Finance and Legal Departments.
External: Various Independent and Governmental Institutes such as, Export Development Board, Board Of Investment (BOI), Chamber of commerce of Sri Lanka, National Chamber of Exporters, Embassies etc.
Secondary functions
To facilitate continuous process improvement in all areas of operation
Monitor all clients warehouse and multi logistics centres inventory levels and approved variances with analysing the explanation given by branch managers,
To direct proposal development team in identifying key warehouse processes and in calculating staffing, layout solutions, equipment and technology costs.

Based in Riyadh attached to Main stores and receive all the Products directly from Denmark through Jeddah Seaport.
Allocate all the incoming products Kingdom wide according the Forecast and Budget.
Supervise all the incoming goods and Processes the documents.
Monitor the kingdom wide Date wise stock report and move the products Kingdom wide back and forth accordingly.
Store all the products in their respective temperature Zones in accordance with the civil defense & Municipality (Baladiya) and fire safety guidelines.
Maintain FIFO and FEFO
Maintain the daily check list of the Equipments and all the storage facilities (multiple temperature)
Delegate Manpower Organize Equipment, Storage Space and Transport with the short notice to meet the Market demand.
Authorize all the Return vouchers, Credit notes, and Day end Reports.
Fulfill all the municipality & Health Authority requirement for the facility and for the Staff
Since 1992 I have been working in a fully Computerized environment. I am responsible for the documentation of local and foreign purchases, dispatches and shipments
Maintaining document in accordance with ISO 9001 system procedure and responsible for allocation of spare parts raw materials semi finished goods and finished goods.
I was the active member of implementing of ISO 14001 environment protect certificate
Organise raw & packing material for daily production and update the production schedule as per orders panned.
