• To look after the Operational Activities of Production and Operations.
• To review and approve the final design of Dies and Mold received from tool maker.
• Plan, organize, and administer departmental systems, procedures, operating budgets, manpower, and controls for a cost effective operation.

• Establish the reorder level for tools and accessories.
• To look after the Process failure mode effect analysis.
• OEE monitoring and Control.
• To Look after the lean manufacturing activities and suggest the necessary improvement in optimizing the productivity and Quality of Parts.
• To insure the monthly stock taking of Inventory by comparing SAP system data with physical WIP.
• To prepare and monitor the Obeya report including customer PPM, internal PPM & RCAs analysis.
• To Check the Daily KPIS of Executives, Quarterly and annual performance appraisal.
• Role of Advisor in Quality Control Circles.
RESPONSIBILITIES AT EXIDE PAISTAN LTD.
• Plan, organize, and administer departmental systems, procedures, operating budgets, manpower, and controls for a cost effective operation.
• To look after the Grid Casting, Oxide mills, Pasting, Forming and Plating Cutting Department Manufacturing Processes.
• To check the thermal process of exothermic and endothermic to control the quality of battery paste (i.e. Paste Penetration and Density) and plates.
• To check Curing Process of Pasted Plates.
• Analyze & recommend machinery, equipment and plant layout requires for better utilizing plant capability.
• To enhance the Productivity of department by time and motion study method and by providing coaching and continuous feedback to teams for improvement.
• To train the manpower about Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing Methods.
• To introduce the 5 S culture in the company and train the employees of the company.
• Introducing the TPM Concept in all over the sections and decreasing the Breakdown of the Machines from Grid casting, Oxide Mill, Pasting Machines, Formation section and Cutting Area of Plates.
