- Preparation of design calculation sheets e.g. cable sizing calculations, motor starting calculations, equipment sizing calculations, cathodic protection calculations, lighting calculations, equipment datasheets, project MTOs (Material Take-off),
- Preparation of Requisitions, Work packs, Electrical Tie-in schedules, cable schedules, equipment specifications
- Preparation of mark-ups for hazardous area classification details and drawings, cable tray and routing layouts, one line diagrams, grounding layouts to be implemented by a CAD designer.
- Preparation of Cable schedules, load lists, tie-in schedules and specifications.
- Preparation of Panel board and load schedules
- Conduction quality checks on documentation to ensure adherence to company's processes
- Participation and coordination of Health, Safety and Environment talks and looking out for potential hazards so as to correct them or report to the appropriate departments for further action.
- Performing any other engineering job that requires application of knowledge gained over 5years class work in a university.
Also, I do have a knowledge industry wide standards which include API, IEC, IEEE, DNV, e.t.c.
Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD design software, LUXICON lighting software, Microsoft Excel and a basic working knowledge of ETAP.
I have over 5 years working experience in the design engineering environment covering Conceptual Designs, Front End Engineering Designs, Conceptual Designs working on projects for ExxonMobil, Chevron and Total. Some of these projects include: the Pigging Facilities Upgrade Phase 6 project (Mobil), the Escravos Diesel Storage Terminal project (Chevron), Yoho Gas pipelilne Brownfield verification phase 2 project (Mobil), Yoho YP Brownfield Upgrade project (Mobil), Ikike Field Development Project (Total), Okpohuru Phase 2 Design project (Seplat). Some of the activities carried out on these projects include but not limited to:

I bagged a Bachelor's degress (Second Class Upper, Honours) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from the Federal University of Technology in Owerri.
