Senior Project Engineer

Senior Project Engineer working in Research and Engineering Department reporting to department manager and Vice General Manager (Research and Technology Department). The turn-key factory projects and start-ups and modification of existing plants and processes are the main business of the department. In the department my field is batch systems for glass plants which include the whole process starting from the raw material entry to the plant, dozing and scaling of the raw material, mixing and transportation to the furnace.


Responsibilities:
•Head project meetings to collect and disseminate information pertaining to projects.
•Technical specification review and resolution.
•Scheduling and monitoring program activity to achieve an “on-time” result including follow-up with external suppliers to ensure timely response to action items.
•Control of designs, drawings, plans and specifications for projects, engineered systems, technical equipment or components.
•Assisting in the preparation of probable project cost estimates.
•Preparing design computations and quantity estimates.
•Instructing technicians to reduce designs to working drawings.
•Ensuring all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements.
•Coordination and checking of engineering deliverables.
•Supervision during mounting, commissioning and start-up.
•Monthly project status reports and change orders.
•Audit Reports for various factories in Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Georgia, India, Germany, Netherlands and Czech Republic
