Sole Client’s Procurement representative responsible for overall Procurement management on Borouge 3 PO /
LDPE / U&O / XLPE projects. Responsibilities and duties included:
- Daily cooperation with EPC Contractors on all Procurement matters,
- Preparation of Client’s procedures, work instructions, recommendations, letters, position papers,
analysis, approvals, records and control documents on any Procurement related matters,
- Review / advise on EPC Contractors’ Procurement organizations, strategies and procedures relative
to the respective projects,

Procurement related activities (RFQs, bids review, qualification of new Vendors, Technical Bid

- Interface with Vendors, Engineering, Construction, Project Control, Project Management, End User
and other third parties,
- Reporting to Project Management on Procurement status. Provide advice and recommend solutions /
improvements on anything Procurement related to meet project’s / Client’s expectations.

Senior Procurement Coordinator with 20 years of experience, holder of MSc degree (Ocean Engineering and Ship Technology) and MBA degree (General & Strategic Management). Specialised in all aspects of Procurement management (including but not limited to Procurement plans and procedures, Vendors prequalification, delivery schedules, RFQs, bids evaluation, commercial clarifications and negotiations, award recommendations, orders placement, post award expediting, spares, invoicing). Experience gained on large, mega and very successful EPC projects within Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industry. Worked for both EPC Contractors and Clients, such as ABB, Borouge and Adma-Opco, in Europe and the Middle East. Whilst representing Clients gained working experience with number of world recognized PMCs and EPC Contractors such as Bechtel, Foster Wheeler, WorleyParsons, Linde, Tecnimont, Tecnicas Reunidas, NPCC, Hyundai Engineering & Construction and Samsung Engineering.

Starting June 2012 and in addition to the above I took over Procurement of the Borouge 3 U&O and XLPE

Sole Client’s Procurement representative responsible for overall Procurement management on Borouge 2
U&O / EU2 / PO projects. Scope of responsibilities and duties similar to those executed on the Borouge 3
project (for details please refer to front page of my resume).
Initially responsible for Procurement on the Borouge 2 U&O (Utilities & Offsite) project. From 2008 I was also
responsible for Procurement on the Borouge 2 PO (Polyethylene/Polypropylene) and EU2 (Ethylene - Steam
Cracker) projects. Total value of the projects in charge - approx. USD 4.5 billion.
I was responsible for:
- Procurement activities leading to award of numerous Purchase Orders for material, equipment and
services within all engineering disciplines (during 2002)
- Coordination of Procurement activities, including management of Project Buyers, reporting to
Project Management on procurement activities (from 2003
responsible for:
- Introduction of new brand of sanitary ware to key DIY customers (Castorama, Leroy Merlin, OBI)
- Maintaining and expanding customer base
- Negotiations with customers
- Establishing sales objective
- Reaching sales targets for managed area (approximately 25 large customers)
- Servicing the needs of existing customers
Kondratki/Wloclawek onshore project (Gas Compressor Stations
within Yamal Project). Total budget - around 200 MUSD. Client : EuRoPol GAZ SA (joint venture of Polish
government and Russian Gazprom).
Responsibilities included preparation of inquiry process, thorough commercial evaluation, contracts
preparation and negotiation, control of schedule execution. Character of the projects required close
cooperation with engineering department, mutual commercial and technical negotiations. Main
equipments of the said gas compressor stations included (but was not limited to) Gas Compressors (2
million Nm3/h each), 25MW Gas Turbines, Gas coolers, Gas filters, Valves (48” and smaller), piping items,
instruments, safety/control and steering systems.
I was responsible for:
- Preparation and completion of Commercial Procedures for ADMA’s Major Projects,
- Assistance to all Major Projects with expertise and advice on Procurement related issues,
- Advise/recommend on execution of Procurement activities, take action if schedule delivery of
equipment, material or services are threatened.
- Direct evaluation and participation in Contractor’s Procurement activities related to Reimbursable
scope of work, both in Home Office and Site.
- Participation in “trouble shooting” meetings between Contractor and their Subcontractors/Vendors,
- Reporting to Project Management on Procurement status. Provide advice and recommendations if
actions are required to improve Contractor’s performance.
2005
As project’s Procurement & Subcontracts Coordinator I was responsible for:
- Coordination of work within the Procurement team, delivery of quality procurement/sub contract
services to our Client.
- Control / processing of all incoming invoices / outgoing payments to vendors and subcontractors.
- Preparation and maintenance of progress reports on all Procurement activities.
- Coordination of Vendors representatives at site.
The project included modifications and technology upgrades of 13 existing gas platforms and the
construction of two new platforms. Engineering and Procurement was done by ABB and Construction by
Master of Science degree
