Master Thesis: Integer Programming Based Model to Assess the Potential Benefits from Establishing Integrated Generation & Transmission Capacity Planning in the Northern Part of the Middle East (Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria & Turkey). The research study included a formulation of a mathematical model that minimizes the operations, generation/transmission expansion (gas, steam turbines…) costs, subject to operational, load and technical constraints, while determining optimal capacity expansions in generation & transmission infrastructure.
