Key roles and responsibilities:
•Calculate monthly percentage of completion for projects deduced from progress reports prepared by project managers and engineers for monthly invoicing.
•Prepare monthly invoices for UN and non-UN clients based on calculated percentage of completion of task orders.
•Vouching and verification of supplier invoices, posting on ERP accounting system and monthly reconciliation of accounts payables.
•Preparation of weekly accounts payables budget for submission to head office as per supplier’s due dates.
•Allocation of accrued monthly salaries for international staff to appropriate project cost centres on ERP accounting system.
•Verification of weekly, bi monthly and monthly local staff payroll and allocation of the cost thereof to appropriate project cost centres on ERP accounting system.

Key roles and responsibilities:
•Evaluate whether client’s internal controls are adequate and operating effectively and where weaknesses are noted make practical recommendations.
•Advising clients on financial reporting, risk management and statutory compliances.
•Computing instalments & final tax and advising clients on the due dates.
•Prepare draft financial statements, tax & deferred tax computation in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards and International Accounting Standards and present them to the audit senior or audit manager for review.
•Carry out vouching and verification of client’s records and preparation of audit working papers and audit file and ensure that they meet the quality criterion of the firm and ICPAK.
•Prepare audit management letter and submit to the audit senior / manager for review.
•Assist the tax department in filing tax returns for clients and prepare client annual returns for submission to KRA.

•Preparation of loan disbursement vouchers.
•Prepared cheques for accounts due and filled in loan forms to facilitate disbursement.
