Lead a team of five direct reports, to manage KPI’s (Back orders, OTIF) / provide weekly shipment estimates / source products from various production sources in America, Europe, Africa and Far East / Verify letters of credit have been established as per approved guidelines / Execute shipments based on distribution strategy and credit status / respond to customer queries regarding availability, lead time / process customer orders based on in-house tools such as global order status, order allocation and Inter regional confirmation./ Billing on SAP/ Provide export Bills of lading, certificate of origin and EUR1 etc per customer requirements.
Consolidate / Compare forecast data with previous months to arrive at variance/ Align purchase of components, like plastics to match production schedules/ Place production orders with factory on a periodical basis as / Coordinate with the factory to align production, shipment and clearance to match delivery deadlines/ Ensure packaging requirements are incorporated through spec. sheets and signed off with the production dept/ Compile, negotiate and finalize freight and insurance rates with service providers/ Supervise documentation is provided as per requirements of clients, scrutinize letters of credit and oversee the export documentation for bank submission.
Consolidate order forecasts / On-line procurement /Process sales orders /Maintain shipping advice / GRN data / Scrutinize Letters of Credit / Dubai Chamber, customs and export documentation /Ensure delivery deadlines are met /Monitor, review shipping rates, negotiate with shipping lines and freight forwarders.
