PRESENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
Excel Group is a privately owned multi-disciplinary engineering and manufacturing company headquarters in Ajman, UAE. Since 1981, Excel is into manufacturing of scaffolding materials, tube mill, waste management, Truck bodies and Galvanizing business. Excel Group is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company and having a turnover of more than 500 million dirham and workforce of more than 1000 people.

 Position: Senior Accountant.

 Analyzing every day financial activities of the organization.
 Preparation of financial statements that includes Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss consolidated and division wise/Business unit wise.
 Preparation of Budgets for each business unit.
 Monitor expenses and provide in depth analysis on budget v/s actual variances. Recommending strategic cost reduction strategies and increasing income as and where .
 Preparation of monthly Management Information system report that includes but not limited to
• Sales report department wise, Customer wise,
• Dispatch of material report detail wise & department wise (Tube mill, Galvanizing, waste management, scaffolding),
• Customer’s Receivable/Debtors report,
• Dispatch orders status,
• Pending orders list (amount of goods left for supply to customer),
• Total Creditors department wise
• Tonnage report department wise on a monthly basis and comparison for the same with last years and month.
 Analyzing data on monthly basis by developing spreadsheets, reports and doing variance analysis and finding reasons for variance in above reports and presenting it to management.
 Overlooking Creditors/ payables control and approvals for the payment after carefully verifying the LPO terms and after verifying material receipts confirmation.
 Reconciliation of intercompany accounts.
 Review the invoices prepared by the accountants in order to ensure that invoices are error free, Signing, posting it into system. Also ensure Monthly statements prepared and lodged on time.
 Ensure accounts are kept updated on regular basis also keeping an eye on company expenses.
 Reviewing journal entries of junior accountants to ensure accuracy and posting for the same.
 Provides guidance for receivable amount, follow up of customers for collection of payments and taking necessary action in case of any doubtful debtors. Liaison with Lawyers in case of disputes with customers on collections.
 Tracking of general ledgers. Excellent knowledge of revenue and expense recognition concepts and implementation of the same.
 Taking care of all types of insurances of the company (Credit risk insurance, workmen compensation, fleet, property all risk, travel, personal, medical etc)
 Verification of payroll wages of more than 1000 workers.
 Verification of leave salary and Gratuity calculations.
 Resolve accounting discrepancies and finalization of accounts.
 Internal Auditing of stores, inventory and Human resource department.
 Preparation of stores manual, Work flow, flow charts, Documents flow, Studying work profile for employees providing feedback or bringing changes if needed.
 Extensive Vat knowledge, return filing, process reports to ensure VAT return filing is taken care of appropriately. Dealing with the preparation and submission of VAT returns on a monthly basis company wise.
 Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures as and when required.
