Underwriting of Policies
Studying the requirements of the Insurance proposals after receiving from Sales team and Producers.
Preparing slips for Insurers and setting targets to help business development team to beat competitors and close businesses.
Devise policy clauses as per requirements of proposals/risk.
To handle process of negotiation, compare, and Selection of best guarantor within deadlines.
To discuss with client all technical aspects of Insurance.
Follow ups and to keep a track of all released quotes to existing and potential client and to follow up to close businesses.
After closing of Business and receiving policies from Insurers to make sure that each and every clause, wording and accounting is as per agreed terms - Calling Data Quality.
To generate quotes and Issue policies directly on Guarantor websites/software for Package Insurances like Office Comprehensive, Business Secure etc.
Reinsurance
Arrange reinsurance for larger risks on Facultative as well as on fronting basis.
To prepare slips with appropriate clauses and wording as per risk requirements.
To deal with reinsurers directly and place business after process of negotiation, compare and selection.
To arrange fronting with Local Insurers.
In this whole process to make sure to arrange the best possible security for client and maximum profitability for company.
Consulting Services for Clients/Sales Team
To Study current policies of clients and advise them the lapse in coverage and how to cater for those. This process is mostly through presentations for the clients.
To help clients/Sales team to fill proposal forms especially for financial lines.
To train Sales Team through discussions, Formal Presentations.
To accompany sales staff in important meetings where technical aspects to be discuss.
Claims Handler
To handle all claims for Commercial lines after receiving from clients.
To deal with Insurance companies to make sure that claims to be settled as per Policy terms and conditions and in best interest of clients.
To deal with Loss Adjusters directly after appointment and help to complete the process of documentation and surveys.
Insurance Renewals
To keep a track of all commercial line renewals so not to miss policies which needs to be renewed to make sure to keep accounts with company.
To work on renewals from sending renewal reminders to obtaining all renewal requirements.
To make sure on renewals to enhance the coverage for clients and to increase profitability for the company by increasing commission to maximum extent.
Relationship building;
Researching the market and related products;
Presenting the product or service in a structured professional way face to face.
Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale;
Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails;
Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business;
Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets;
Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales;
Gathering market and customer information;
Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy Insurance.
Creating detailed proposal documents, helping clients to fill proposal forms.

Providing customers with quotations after having from underwriting department within deadlines;
Attending team meeting and sharing best practice with colleagues.
Completed AIII in 3 sittings from III. Acquired 7 distinctions out of 11 Papers. FIII is expected to be completed in May 2015
