and beverage, inclusive of events such as weddings, with my later roles being management
positions.

Event Management
For all events I was responsible and accountable for the end to end delivery, with numerous having
VIP dignitaries as well as high profile UK press and media coverage.
* Official opening by the town mayor of a new innovate and multi-award winning corporate office
designed and built to house 1, 000+ government employees
* Large social corporate evening event to celebrate the official opening of new innovate and multi-
award winning corporate office
* Family fun weekend, inclusive of carnival / fun fair to promote corporate office and enable local
recruitment

* Government’s official launch of a new major government product and service worth £300m per
year to UK Government
* Corporate, and on a global scale, consultation and road-show events to communicate and
promote new products and services
* Numerous corporate conferences, and away days
* Preparation of the international launch of a professional body’s transformational change (current
in-flight work)
* A portfolio of diverse weddings with a range of themes from 100 - 300 guests
* A portfolio of birthday events in the UK and Dubai
* In my free time I have also volunteered my event and project management skills to Scotland’s
second largest annual festival and to charitable events.
Programme and Project Management
Each one of my portfolio of Programmes and Projects has inherently involved event management
whether that be an external launch of a new product, a government dignitary event, or large
corporate conferences or team building events.
* Delivery and launch of a multi million pound new government flagship loans product to tight
timescales and within a high pressured environment of political sensitivity. The personal
commitment I gave the Programme coupled with its successful delivery led to me receiving a
personal invitation by Her Majesty the Queen to Buckingham Palace (UK) to the official
Her Majesty the Queen’s 2014 summer Garden Party by way of reward
* Fully established a Global Business and IT Transformation Programme’s Programmes Office
function, commended internally at all levels, as well as by external Programme assurers, for the
high value add service provided
* Project managed the establishment of a multi award winning new corporate office in North
England, UK, for 1000 staff
* Delivery of a student finance service, inclusive of a new bilingual office
* Delivery of new further education finance products across the UK
* Project managed a company’s sensitive restructure which required 150 staff redundancies
* Responsible for the shaping and (now commencing) delivery of a large transformation
Workstream with a global scope, comprising of significant Business Change and IT, including
the procurement of new IT solutions and the external launch
