Obligated to prepare RIS engineering deliverables such as RIS/ SHE critical listing/ proof test procedures, SRS, Cause and effect diagram etc. for process and machines (compressor, furnace etc.). Participates the RIS workshop meetings, hazard & risk assessment, FMEA/ FTA studies, SHE critical listing, SIL assessment, PFD calculations/ SIL verification and determination of proof test time interval (maintenance strategy). Synopsis: Consultant services to ADMA-OPCO AL NASR offshore FFD project (phase 2) which includes Greenfield, Brownfield and PDAS intended to increase the oil production by 65 MSTBOPD. Project value is US$1.938bn.
Revitalized commissioning engineering activities, prepared deliverable's including FAT/ IFAT/ SAT procedures, ESD/ FGS/ Process OTP's, brownfield ICSS integration procedure and test sheets as per Total, Adma-Opco, BP general specifications along with ODICS and ICAPS methodology. Analyzed the ICSS and instrument engineering development activities, control strategies with respect to the hardware/ software FDS, I/O list, P&ID, CEM, control narrative etc.

• Distinctly worked close with vendor team, gained knowledge on Yokogawa Centum VP, ProSafe RS, AMS (PRM), Exaquantum (ALMS), GE MARK VIe for GLC anti-surge control and BN 3500 for MMS etc.
• Resuscitated inaccurately defined SRS with SIF using HAZOP report, CEM and FEED documents, SIL verification by PFD calculations.

Synopsis: OFON phase 2 offshore projects involved two drilling platforms (OFD3 & OFD5), a processing platform (OFP2) and phase 1 retrofit intended to increase the oil production by 105kbbl/d.
Obliged to lead IFAT, SAT up to mechanical completion (RFC) and onsite witness consultation to control/ instrumentation commissioning activities (loop test/ function test/ OTP’s, FCW sequence test etc.) using PRODOM and ICAPS methodology. Reviewed/ endorsed the commissioning engineering documents, ESD/ FGS/ Process OTP's, Brownfield commissioning dossier prepared by EPC consultants.

• Reinvigorated the IFAT and ensured the on-time delivery with respect to Total E&P general specifications.
• Spearheaded ICSS tests in adherence with logics diagrams, FDS, P&IDs, CEM, ILD and network architecture etc.

• Exhilarated the power up and SIT objectives by providing meticulous study on ControlNet & DeviceNet related to Allen Bradley PLC for Compressor Control System (CCC) and full time site consultation.
• Revitalized SAT of ICSS (Honeywell, Triconex-SIS) network wiring and system cables, scrutinized the network components as per the design and Dolphin energy specifications thus honored by the management.
• Prudently gained knowledge on 3 element control logic and other Compressor sequence control.
Synopsis: Jubail refinery project in Jubail industrial city, intended to produce 400K bbl. /day heavy crude oil as well as the other white commodities. Jubail refinery is one of the most advanced refineries in the world.
Obliged to analyze the implementation and commissioning of Foxboro IA (DCS), Triconex (SIS/ BMS/ CCS) and 3rd party PLC’s (Siemens S7 & Allen Bradley) as per Total/ Aramco specification. Witnessed SIT, SAT and commissioning activities (PCS complex loop test, ESD/FGS/BMS/CCS function test and OTP’s) RFC to RFSU using PRODOM/ ICAPS methodology. Endorsed engineering/ commissioning documents/ SPI database and coordinated vendor call offs. Attentively managed control software changes in accordance with MOC and daily progress report to top management.
Prominent Accomplishments:
• Conscientiously gathered knowledge/ practical implementation of Modbus, Profibus communications and quickened the configuration of PACTware (IAMS), achieved partial stroke test on time for CDU/ VDU units.
• Rectified improper PCS control strategy implementation, software debug, revitalized PCS/ ESD implementations and HMI functions related to package 3 aromatics and achieved management appreciation.

Synopsis: TL4 Pipeline & Facilities Revamp, DCS retrofits, KOC-Kuwait project designed to transport 665k bbl. / day from northern point A to south tank farm through 30" diameter transit line, a contract of $155 million.
Duty-bound to site engineering/ commissioning support of ABB 800xa (DCS/ESD/FGS), ESD retrofit with HIMA PLC and FGS retrofit with GE Fanuc PLC as per KOC specifications. Provided accurate assistance to O&M team during commissioning with O&M team, rectified ILD mistakes and database update.

• Orchestrated HMI changes as per MOC procedure and solved PCS punch points received during commissioning.
• Inspected FEED documents and HAZOP report, gained knowledge on SIL verification for SIF’s in SIS.
Synopsis: Subiya CCGT power project to build a 2000 MW power plant (3 STG + 9 GTG) contract of $2.7 billion.
Obliged to execute the installation of GE Mark VIe control system/ BN 3500 MMS, system cabinet cabling, integration of DCS components and installation of FO for CCB.

• Dexterously anchored the installation of DCS/ MMS, resolved DCS network issues, red-mark up network architecture and worked closely with vendor design team to achieve timely completion of SAT within the time span.
Synopsis: Qatar gas 2 LNG utilities, facilities, Trains 4/ 5 project (QGX), Ras Laffan industrial city, each train designed to produce 7.8 million tons of LNG per annum is the world’s first and largest LNG plant project of its scale.
Responsible to actualize pre-commissioning up to mechanical completion (RFC) and commissioning activities (loop checking, ESD function test and whole package vibration monitoring system execution) to prepare the plant for RFSU using ICAPS methodology. Responsible for the installation of DCS (Foxboro IA) and SIS (Triconex).

• Took over a project where the MMS was slowly on progress and inaccurate, all issues were overcome & achieved within the required timescale. Managed overall refinery area with 8 teams.
Various automation projects within India, including Cochin shipyard.
• Responsible to design PLC software and hardware configurations, as per the client requirement specifications.
