Inspect all incoming mechanical materials and equipment against approved
submittals, specifications, and project standards.
Ensure all mechanical installations strictly adhere to approved shop drawings, design
specifications, and the Saudi Building Code (SBC).
Verify the proper installation of HVAC ductwork, air handling units, fan coil units,
and refrigerant piping, checking for quality, insulation, and sealing as per
ASHRAE and SMACNA standards.
Inspect plumbing system installations including water supply, drainage, and sanitary
fixtures, ensuring compliance with UPC/IPC and leak-free connections.
Verify the correct installation of fire sprinklers, standpipes, fire pumps, and related
piping as per NFPA Codes (e.g., NFPA 13, NFPA 20) and SBC Fire Protection
Code.
Conduct visual inspections of piping supports, hangers, alignment, welding (if
applicable), and joint integrity according to ASME B31 codes and project
specifications.
Witness and document all required mechanical tests, including hydrostatic tests for
piping, duct leakage tests, and flushing procedures, ensuring adherence to test
protocols.
Inspect the proper installation, leveling, alignment, and vibration isolation of all
mechanical equipment (e.g., chillers, pumps, fans) in plant rooms and on floors.
Verify that all mechanical penetrations through fire-rated walls and slabs are
correctly fire-stopped and sealed to maintain compartmentation as per NFPA 101 and
