As an entrepreneur, I was privileged to leverage this opportunity as a blessing in disguise to improve my leadership skills and explore new options for improving the enrollments and the volume of students at our place.
As an existing ecturer for UPSC Civil Services exam, I am already well versed with subjects such as Public policy, Governance, Tech. Foreign policy, Economy, Agriculture & Infrastructure in both English & Hindi (हिंदी माध्यम | हिंदी मीडियम). These subjects overlap with Humanities and Social Sciences. Most noticeable among them is/are the Government policies and Governance which integrates the features of Indian economic policies and Indian Administration. This knowledge can be used for market analysis and research for academia, think tanks and pressure groups alike.
During the course of this journey, I could author several books for my students with special emphasis on Infrastructure for the energy sector, health, Research and Development, industrial policies to accommodate and scale-up disruptive technologies. They are written from the perspective of a journalist who wants to understand the entire sector and prevailing issues in a single frame.
Other than that, I used my knowledge to independely design two full time degree courses that could help my students make a successful careers in 'non traditional sectors' such as philanthrophy and development sectors.
These courses are BA (H) in Civil Services & BA (H) in Public Policy for which I hold the necessary copyrights.
I look forward to do more study and research on Public Policy and Governance which integrates both the features of Indian economic policies and Public Administration. This knowledge can be used for market analysis and research for academia, think tanks and pressure groups like IPAC, World Bank, United Nations (UN), ASSOCHAM, Gujarat Chambers of Commerce, Carnegie (India), National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER), FICCI and/or other grassroot organization/s.
I hold an MA/Master’s degree in International Studies and Global Diplomacy from SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies) in the UK. This has equipped me with a deep understanding of international affairs, diplomatic relations, foreign policy, negotiation skills, and the complexities inherent in global politics. Furthermore, my dissertation on the impact of sanctions on other countries and its impact on India underscores my ability to critically analyse complex geopolitical issues and its impact on traditional and non-traditional security challenges of India. During the course of this journey in MA, I had the privilege of engaging with various stakeholders from senior bureaucrats within the Ministry of External Affairs and other influential people who work with prominent think tanks like the Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defence Studies and Analysis, Observer Research Foundation, Vivekananda International Foundation, Business guilds and Trade associations, has improved my understanding of the priorities of my nation and the various governments at regional and global levels and how these people leverage their diplomatic skills and intercultural communication expertise.
