 Participated in developing and leading the implementation of construction related activities and operations for electrical distribution systems.
 Co-ordinated to monitor, control & plan to lead and manage all site supervision, reporting and office administration activities related to electricity distribution construction.
 Lead the Electrical Inspectors in attending scheduled inspections via Work Inspection Requests, and provide accurate inspection comments related to the electrical works.
 Lead the Electrical Inspectors monitoring of Contractor's performance concerning the Electrical Works against approved Method Statements and PQP.
 Proposing new design alternatives and solutions for major construction projects and provides conceptual estimates, feasibility studies, and cost estimates for the same.
 Participate in developing and forecasting the budget for Construction section and establishing guidelines related to contracts, and quality control provisions in line with Kahramaa business strategy.
 Liaising with KAHRAMAA EDC to perform project cost estimation as required and ensures optimization of costs in line with established guidelines.
 Ensuring though the consultant team that project operations are in compliance with design specifications and with Kahramaa, state and federal policies and regulations.
 Conduct periodic surprise inspections along with KAHRAMAA EDC HOC and Senior Engineer’s to ensure that QA/QC requirement are met during the cable laying, jointing, plant delivery and trench inspections etc.
 Manage and ensure timely preparation of the required statistical and technical reports on a monthly and yearly basis for Kahramaa management review and analysis.
 Attend the Top Management Meeting with contractors to ensure smooth projects execution and prepare MOM.
 Forecast for Long term and short term manpower for site supervision activities on site related to Construction Section Projects.
 Working in cooperation with Kahramaa EDC and Quality Assurance and Continual improvement department on securing and maintaining the ISO 9002 certification.
 Ensuring the compliance of all activities within the construction section are in line with Kahramaa health and safety regulations.

•Developed a basic understanding of the National Electricity Market of Singapore, especially dispatch mechanism and determination of reserve requirement and prices.
•Interpreted the impact on additional reserve requirement of Australia, Germany and Singapore with high solar photovoltaic (PV) integration.
•Collected and processed large volumes of data for calculation of reserve costs using VBA codes (Excel- Macros).

Power System Control Centre-The coordination of the entire operation of the Tata power System is carried out by PSCC situated at Trombay thermal station which is responsible for ensuring reliable, secure and safe supply of electricity by overall supervision and control of the Tata power System. The centre is equipped with modern communication facilities and computer based real-time data acquisition and energy management system.

•Co-ordinated the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity of Mumbai Region from moment to moment achieving maximum security and an efficiency of 95% throughout the years.
•Performed the Merit order dispatch of Thermal (comprising Coal, Oil & Gas -1580 MW) & Hydro (447 MW) generating units on real time basis.
•Analyzed the consumer load data from the distribution centers and forecasted the demand on a daily basis based on minimum cost of generation scheduling satisfying the requirements of the consumers to 100%.
•Managed to continuously monitor and control the TATA Power transmission & distribution network (22 Receiving Stations & Consumer Substations across Mumbai at 220, 110, 33, 22 & 11 kV levels through SCADA) on a real time basis by performing zero wrong operations leading to reliable power supply round the clock.
•Managed a team of 100 staff to carry out network operations (SCADA-Online Automated System) which involved the operation and control of the entire power system of Mumbai Region achieving a reliability of 98% throughout the years.
•Performed the Load Flow Analysis & planning for contingencies (at N-1 level) in the system achieving a proactive approach for the future.
•Co-ordinated with the O&M team and other stakeholders to integrate new installations in the network based on the CAPEX plan approved by the regulatory body thereby increasing the customer base every year.
•Consolidated Operational Reports for Tata Power Group & its subsidiaries across India and presented them to the senior and General Managers of various departments for a monthly review and worked upon the discrepancies for continuous improvement.
•Analyzed the requests for network operations to approve equipment releases by adhering to the safety tagging system in order to prevent any human loss.
•Initiated to handle two major shutdowns by restoring power supply to consumers in minimum time resulting in appreciation for my timely decision making.
•Negotiated with the customers during a major power shutdown explaining the scenario to them by providing them with technical details resulting in the improvement of my interpersonal skills.
