• Responsible for mechanical operations and maintenance of the Stock Preparation Area,
Drum Pulper Area, and Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP).
• Supervise and coordinate a team of technicians, fitters, welders, and mechanical
technicians to ensure safe and efficient plant operation.
• Oversee operation, inspection, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of
equipment including refiners, cleaners (LD, MD, HD), pumps, fractionators, disc filters,
and dispersers.
• Plan and schedule maintenance activities for assigned areas to ensure equipment
reliability and minimize production downtime.
• Identify maintenance requirements, prepare job plans, and issue work instructions to the
maintenance team.
• Raise Purchase Requisitions (PRs) for spare parts, consumables, and maintenance
services in coordination with Procurement.
• Follow up with Stores and Procurement departments to track material availability and
ensure timely receipt of spares before storage and job execution.
• Verify received materials against specifications and maintenance requirements prior to
acceptance and storage.
• Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, and technical documentation.

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor landscaping, cleaning, and general facility maintenance works to ensure
proper site conditions and standards.
• Oversee operation, inspection, and preventive maintenance of chillers, HVAC systems, pumps, and
diesel generators.
• Diagnose mechanical issues, plan corrective maintenance, and coordinate repairs to minimize
downtime.
• Supervise technicians and skilled workers including HVAC technicians, plumbers, masons, painters,
and cleaning staff.
• Ensure proper execution of plumbing, masonry, and painting works in accordance with drawings,
specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance activities, spare parts, and service support.
• Prepare maintenance schedules, work plans, and technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company procedures, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Conduct site inspections, verify completed work, and ensure proper housekeeping and asset condition.

• Collect process samples, monitor production quality, and ensure products meet required specifications.
• Perform routine inspection and basic maintenance of unit equipment.
• Regularly check all equipment in the unit and report any abnormalities or malfunctions to the
Maintenance Department.
• Inspect urea pipelines and flush them with steam in case of blockage or buildup.
• Carry out plant round activities as per operating instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Coordinate closely with the DCS operator and perform tank changeovers whenever instructed.
• Maintain continuous communication with the DCS operator to ensure smooth and safe operations.
• Issue work permits and coordinate with Maintenance, Safety, and other departments to ensure safe
execution of jobs.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules, operational procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
