ROLES & RESPONSIBILITES
Preparing BOQ (Book of Quantities for Complete structure)
•Preparation of Weight of steel used for Trusses, Hoardings etc..
•Reconcilation of Materials and Quantities to control the cost.
•Making the Weekly Bills & Contractors running Bills fortnightly.
•Applying Personal technical knowledge and experience to the development
•Verifying the quantity calculation of different construction activities starting from excavation to finishing of structure.
•Preparation of Work orders for the subcontractors and their amendments due to variation as per site requirement.
•Preparing Bar Bending Schedule and reducing the wastage of steel by adopting suitable usage data to perform in site.
•Billing according to mode of measurement as per SP 27:1987
As a Site Engineer:
•Supervising Projects: including in house, external contractors and sub-contractors.
•Setting out Project works in accordance with Drawings & Specification
•Commissioning work from both in house personnel and external contractors.
•Ensuring that all design work that is produced on a project is of a sufficient quality to avoid any errors or rework.
•Ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budget and timescales.
•Working closely with all levels of management, engineers and field operations staff
•Setting up project procedures and relevant quality forms.
•Execution of roof truss erecting works for Pre Engineered Building Work.
•Carrying out surveys for marking of various activities like footings, columns, plinth levels, slab levels and GL differences.
•Execution of finishing works like block work, plastering, painting, flooring, modular kitchen works, wardrobe works, plumbing works etc..,
•Preparation of Snag points report
•Handling of maintenance works like rectification of plumbing issues, seepage and dampness problems.
•Ensuring site safety measures
•Providing technical advice - problem solving
•Attending meetings and competently communicate with Clients, Contractors
•Preparing progress reports.
•Preparing a check list to ensure quality of work.
•Preparing day to day execution report and planning report for next day works.
•Implementing the planned works without any delay by proper arrangement of labour & material resources
