Cisco Hosted Collaboration Solution (HCS) Offer cloud-based unified communications & collaboration applications to customers. I have successfully designed & deployed Cisco HCS solution for CSC at multiple datacenters located globally (i.e. USA, UK & INDIA). I played vital role in end to end design and deployment and had following responsibilities
Understand end to end requirement and formulate requirement into network design
Product comparison & build bill of material
Create high level and low level design
Design high availability at all layers
Prepare configuration documents
Prepare transition approach
Handled end to end deployment of network, compute, security and san switches
Testing of each component and high availability testing
Knowledge transfer and handover to operation’s team
Preparation and maintenance Design documents as per project requirement
Network Engineer of the Core Network Engineering team with the responsibility of Designing, Configuring and Managing Sify's core network infrastructure spanning across India, US, UK, Hong Kong, Singapore that includes more than 1000 Cisco routers with a wide range of Cisco switches, Pix, Packet shaper and firewalls
Managing the Internet bandwidth based on the gateway utilization and controlling the traffic in Backbone Network
Managing the OSPF Cost manipulation in SIFY’s Backbone network
Implementation and support of IP based routing configurations for IPVPN / IVPN / MPLS VPN Layer2 / Layer3 based corporate clients across India with More than 100 base stations and 65 POPs of MPLS enabled core STM-4/STM-1/DS3 Link.
Execution of Change Managements for addition and Modification in design of the core, distribution and edge of SIFY’s WAN Network Infrastructure
Managing and implementing the Metro Ethernet in major cities across India with RSTP and MSTP rings
Trouble-shooting Layer-3 (RIP / OSPF / EIGRP / BGP) networks over STM4, STM1, DS3, E1 with Local networks, Layer-2 networks & NNI networks
