I joined Orit Apparels as a Warehouse and Distribution Manager from 3rd July 1998 and worked there up to end of Jan 2006.
During my period I was responsible as a Warehouse Manager, efforts must always be made to maximize the effective use of the plant equipment and resources to satisfy internal and external Customers with the worker's and shareholders' requirements and expectations.
And warehouse Manager Works to make sure all departments are working efficiently to get the job done. Success comes down to the warehouse manager’s ability to be organized.
Responsible for planning out all warehouse resources and activities in relation to the Company’s objectives and targets.
Also keeping track of stock using a computer system and allocating space for storing goods, organizing special requirements for stock analyze, RM requirements based on the production plan and within 10 Days window to confirm the RM Stability over 95% before the pre-production meeting with merchandising team.
And determination and proven ability to oversee the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a wide range of goods having the necessary management skills required to administer improve and develop a warehouse to achieve maximum efficiency, effectiveness and quality of service. Improve the relationship between Company with the Suppliers (Local and Foreign) to ensure the best quality, on-time deliveries, one pack quantity, dispatch method, and documentation level to minimal impact on production.
And to ensure Commercial and Legal Guidelines and Documentation delays with movement and tracking of RM and Goods followed structured process to ensure comprehensive accurate management with the Customers. (Supplier integration)
Monitoring Targets and Failures regularly by using key performance indicators and explaining the variances to the team and training and motivating them with the Clear Direction to achieve the targets and Grownup as capable workers in the Organization.
A Hardworking proactive individual with an unbeaten, positive attitude, who also has extensive knowledge of working practices in Manpower Handling, leading coaching and Training of employment and diversity issues.
Ensuring stock levels and stock accuracy to manage and control the warehouse effectively with Worker Compliance and all health and safety regulations.
Responsible for the disciplinary and grievance procedures and working with team Leaders to review procedures and maximize customer Satisfaction. Improve operational efficiency across warehouse processes and maintain budgetary goals and company objectives.
