Overall responsibility for ensuring the Implementation of the project specific HSE Plan & Procedures.
•Overall responsibility for ensuring that the performance of subcontractors.
•Prepares, maintains and implements the site fire fighting and emergency evacuation plans.
•Verifies compliance of site people with safety rules and procedures in accordance with HSE System
•Coordinate with consultant and third party auditors regarding HSE specific Audits on regular basis & advise management for necessary action.
•Provide warning signs on all potentially risky areas, such as Chemical/ gas cylinder storage areas, machinery, drill excavation, confined space etc.
•Ensures all site safety and fire-fighting equipment is properly inspected and maintained as per the manufacturer’s recommendation.
•Ensures that all safety related equipment is part of the general site Inspection and Maintenance Program
•Coordinates and supervise the emergency response and evacuation plan for the Site in case of any fire, accident or incident .
•Conducts the weekly Site safety meeting and set the agenda for meeting.
•Ensure compliance on Risk Assessment and Method Statement.
•Provide advice to construction and subcontractor management on HSE issues, based on legislation
To ensure the implementation of local HSE legislation and Corporate HSE policy / procedures at site in line with clients HSE requirement
•To conduct HSE trainings, internal HSE audits, inspections of sites and contractors work areas.
•To accomplish successful audit conducted by Corporate Auditor and implementation of the action plan resulted from the audit.
•Conduct weekly HSE inspection with representative of Consultant and client.
•Ensure welfare facilities on site for employees.
•Plan and organize internal HSE training.
•Investigation of accidents and record maintaining.
•Carrying out Job Safety Analysis to determine Hazards of the activity.
•Ensure compliance of Risk Assessment and Method of Statement.
