• Supported production department by preparing WPS and welding process sheets including methods and sequence for various products.

• Attended to field failure of equipment to identify root causes and evolve necessary process improvements.
• Improved the performance and life of excavator welded components with fillet joints which were failing prematurely due to fatigue caused by repeated cyclic loads by adopting suitable procedures.
• In excavators of smaller capacities, redesigned the track frames, significantly improving performance.
• Eliminated premature failure of the track frame of dozers by identifying root causes and implementing corrective measures.
• Conducted fatigue analysis on cruciform welded joints to evaluate process capabilities to suit design requirements.
• Designed welded structures for applications on wheeled and crawler excavators, dozers and defence equipment.
• Designed joints and prepared process sheets for serial production of PMS bridges and for mounting LIW guns on BEML TATRA vehicles.
• Provided design analysis and drawing support for the successful launch of BE 200 X range of equipment.
• Established welding procedures to salvage rejected castings and forgings saving Rs10 lacs per year.
