Working as Project Manager on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s first HVDC ±500kV Converter Station project, executed in collaboration with Hitachi Energy. This pioneering initiative involves the successful integration of the HVDC site with an existing 380kV substation — a critical step in enhancing the national grid’s capacity and reliability.
In my role, I ensure full compliance with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards across all phases of execution. I lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams across electrical, civil, mechanical, and communication domains. My responsibilities also include interfacing with SEC, managing subcontractors, and ensuring that all technical and regulatory standards are strictly followed.
I am dedicated to maintaining project timelines, upholding quality benchmarks, and driving seamless collaboration between all stakeholders to deliver this high-impact infrastructure project successfully.

Electrical Project Engineer with hands-on experience in executing and supervising the installation, testing, and commissioning of smart metered RMUs, switchgears, transformers, and panelboards. Successfully managed FAT processes and technical submittals in compliance with SEC standards, ensuring RTU integration with ADMS SCADA systems. Proficient in electrical design review, equipment sizing, SLDs, and as-built documentation. Experienced in SAP-based procurement workflows (PR, PO, GRPO, AP Invoices), and BMS integration across fire alarm, access control, CCTV, and data systems. Adept at cross-disciplinary coordination (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) to maintain quality, safety, and timely project delivery.

Experienced Electrical Project Engineer with a strong background in HVDC converter station projects, including detailed design review and field supervision. Proficient in overseeing the installation of AIS equipment, converter transformers, protection and control panels, and auxiliary systems. Hands-on experience in supporting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), resolving on-site technical issues, and maintaining comprehensive project documentation. Experienced Project Engineer with hands-on expertise in managing high-voltage substation projects, specifically GIS 9053 (380kV) in Riyadh. Supervised the installation and commissioning of GIS components including circuit breakers, disconnectors, earthing switches, lightning arresters, and GIB systems.

Led the installation and termination of fiber optics (IED relays, servers, switches), and managed protection relay configuration. Developed detailed method statements and FAT/SAT documentation for electrical systems. Provided technical guidance to technicians during cable termination, dressing, and routing, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and high-quality standards.
