Currently I am performing different roles that could be briefed as:
•Management Reporting for Balance Sheet and P&L on monthly and quarterly basis for Group at combined and Consolidated Level and Preparation of Quarterly Board Presentations to review operational and Financial Performance of group
•Monthly analysis of budgeted versus actual results along with reasons of variations and consultation to operational directors on cost control initiatives
•Preparation of budgets and business plans on annual basis in consultation with operational directors
•To lead in preparation of Financials for 14 companies for auditors along with group consolidation. Liaison with Auditors and provision of in time data to make sure timely completion of annual audit
•Preparation of Projections and forecasts for investors as and when required at entity and group level
•Assisted Finance Head in establishing strategic financial objectives and operating policies and procedures.
•Developed accounting procedures, cost allocation methods and reporting mechanisms.
•Analyzed and recommended financial goals and critical success factors for each department through consultation with departmental heads and CEO.
•Provided strategic and operational direction to the company’s finance and accounting departments and adopting appropriate measures to safeguard the company’s assets.
•Gathering and interpretation of financial information
•Cash flow/ liquidity management, Budgets, forecasts, analyses, feedback, corrective action, Banking affairs e.g. FE-25, Export Finance Scheme (
Responsible for all activities concerning budget & cost control. The responsibility domains from Collating Financial Information for budget preparation, it’s monitoring and implementation. Establishment of monitoring and analysis system for various costs and introducing periodic tickle systems for all over runs. Working over projects that will
Reduce cost of the company ultimately with productivity innovations and intact quality control systems. The tasks include Liaoning with all departments on a day to day basis extending all financial support required. This considers analyzing all reports and financial results generated by Oracle based budgeting module. A larger part of the pie consists sitting with the departments for devising cost controlling-centric policies and procedures and finding innovative ways to reduce costs and increase operational efficiency.
My role over there was:
•Providing and interpreting financial information;
• Annual Budget Formulation and preparation of business plans
• Monthly Budget Reporting of all departments and senior management (Budget Board)
•System based reporting of budgeted Vs Actual Results and monitoring of system based controls on PO Approval
•Preparation of forecasted results based on actual performance
•Analyzing core area costs like energy materials DME.
• Ensuring monthly closing of accounts and accrual Preparation for pending entries
•Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities;
•Managing a company's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems;
•Monthly Budget Overruns summary to Budget Board and providing management solid reason of these overruns
and reporting to Audit Partner and Audit Manager. As a senior member of the AAD, my key responsibilities entail execution of audit (as per the requirements of International Standards on Auditing), developing the audit strategy including designing and application of audit procedures for various clients, assessment of business and audit risks, validation of financial statements (as per the requirements of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local regulator. I have also worked in advisory department of KPMG where I got opportunity to work in ERP Implementation of Oracle Financials and Supply Chain Management. I have also worked as team lead in assignment of accounts reconciliation of legacy system with ERP system. During assurance engagements, my roles and responsibilities include:
• Performing Audit in accordance with International Standards on Auditing and the KPMG Audit Methodology of companies.
• Identification of internal control weaknesses and making appropriate recommendations to the management.
