Scope: To design detailed floor panel plan for 787 aircraft configuration.
Responsibilities:
To create detailed floor panel design of 787 aircraft configuration.
Have to consider Monument, lavatory and galley location for the type of floor panel to consider.
Floor panels are placed accordingly with 41, 43, 45, 46/47 & 47 location of aircraft.
Each section panels are created as IRM (Installation Requirement Model) and saved in Enovia.
CATIA V5, IPP (Integrated Process Planning)

Scope: To develop detailed Process plan with Integrated Process Planning application for aero engine components
by using CATIA V5.
Responsibilities:
Study of requirement document, Inputs and Technical Data from the Customer and preparing the
Estimation
Work involves in identifying the best raw material shape to use.
To create MOS for critical parts and Assemblies of Combustor Liner Assemblies of PT6engines, Discs
Part Families and Impellers of PW120.
Creation of Integrated Process planning (IPP) structure by calling raw material & subsequent machining
operations in Boolean method to have all operations called independently for NC program generation.
The IPP product structure should be able to bring respective fixtures if any in the given operation to
represent in manufacturing operation sheets.
The construction of MOS automation and the links between the different CATIA files are established with
IPP application.
Work involves in determining machining processes and parameters are to be used (as well as those
machines capable of performing these processes) to convert a piece part from its initial form to a final form
predetermined from an engineering drawing.
Modeling and detailed drafting for each machining process as per PWC standards.
Develop manufacturing Operation sheets & machine models for NC programming for brackets & adapters in
IPP environment
To develop Manufacturing operation sheets (MOS) & NC machine models in Integrated Process Planning
(IPP) environment. Assigning appropriate inspection gauges & identifying tooling requirements to manufacture a
part and FAI preplan documents for FAA inspection
Responsibilities:
Study of Engineering drawings and design specifications.
Prepare process plans for new parts (production and developmental).
Create process routings, request tool & fixtures for developmental parts
Sequenced machining technique in IPP CATIA environment to depict actual machining.
Generation of Manufacturing Operation Sheets per customer standards.
Support for tool design and NC programming.
Prepare FAI preplans (AS9102 format).

Responsibilities:
This project involves the creation of process routings, modifications in process using SAP.
Creation of processes for different part families.
Instructions required for each operation are entered in SAP.
Allocation of different types of tools and inspection gauges for process as per standards set by PWC.
Adding Inspection sequences to the dimensions in each manufacturing operation thereby verifying the
manufacturing process.
Adding export control tagging in SAP ensuring process in obeying export control rules.
For a period of 6 months.
Extensive training at customer facility for Solumina, Repair Work Instruction, FAI & various manufacturing
processes
Prepared Repair work instructions for Diffuser case, Turbine exhaust case, Low Pressure turbines and
High Pressure Compressor.

Scope: To develop detailed repair work instructions by referring aero engine manuals like Engine Manuals, CIR
Manuals, Standard Practice Manual, and Service Bulletins etc.
Responsibilities:
To create repair work instructions and to ensure repairs developed are as per the requirements of
machine shop floor engineer and operator’s
To compare, understand and identify the repair operations from Engine Manual and Router.
Identify cutting tools, hand tools and measuring tools to perform operations.
Coordinate with shop floor managers & operators for the respective operations review and discussion.
Work Involves in monitoring the assigned engine component closely till it get repaired.
Study of overall repair condition and work center feasibility to do that repair.
Close interaction with the technicians to find out the solution for repairs.
Work involves in selection of best measuring tools to keep the repaired area in dimensional limits.
Solumina is a platform for uploading the work instruction; technicians download it and perform the repair
