Lead and manage a team of multi-disciplinary technicians (Electricians, Plumbers, HVAC Techs).
Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults in engines, alternators, and control systems.
Perform routine servicing, including oil and filter changes, cooling system flushes, and battery inspections.

The primary duty is to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot the mechanical and electrical systems within an engine room.
System Monitoring: Regularly checking gauges, dials, and computer interfaces to monitor temperatures, pressures, and fluid levels of engines and auxiliary equipment.
Preventative Maintenance: Performing routine oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections on diesel engines, gas turbines, or steam systems.
Equipment Operation: Starting, stopping, and synchronizing generators to manage load demands.
Log Keeping: Maintaining precise daily logs of engine performance, fuel consumption, and any technical anomalies.
Fluid Management: Operating fuel and lube oil purifiers and managing water treatment systems to prevent corrosion or engine damage.
Emergency Response: Identifying leaks, unusual vibrations, or alarms and executing immediate corrective actions or emergency shutdowns.
Technical Skills & Competencies
Mechanical Knowledge: A deep understanding of internal combustion engines, cooling systems, and fuel injection systems.
Electrical Proficiency: Familiarity with switchgear, circuit breakers, and basic Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) control systems.
Tool Usage: Mastery of precision measuring tools (micrometers, torque wrenches) and diagnostic software.
Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards.
