As an Onsite PACS Support Engineer, My crucial role is managing and maintaning the imaging system at Riyadh Medical City, Jeddah, Dammam and Al Ahsa. Overseeing the storage and retrieval of Medical Images, troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring compliance and regulations, and providing training and support to end users. Implement or modify complex configuration changes Test and Production PACS systems. New CT/MR Modalities addon etc. Flag PACS and HL7 issues for internal teams such as engineering, services and on customer cases as well as implement fixes or workarounds to resolves problems. Perform scheduled PACS preventative maintenance backups and systems administration functions at Main Riyadh facility. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to the PACS system. Training and providing support to the end users on how to use the system efficiently. Collabrating with IT Staff and healthcare professionals to optimize the PACS system for organizations needs. Monitoring and managing system performance and capacity. Implementing upgrades and updates to the PACS systems.
