- Assist in maintaining servers, security solutions, network hardware and equipment.
- Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activities.
- Develop computer information resources, providing for data security and control, strategic computing, and disaster recovery.
- Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.
- Stay abreast of advances in technology.
- Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.

- Work with the IT Manager to develop strategies and plans to enhance and improve user effectiveness and foster innovation.
- Perform tasks as directed by IT Manager.
Responsible for protecting all sensitive information within the company. I ensure the corporate network has adequate security to prevent unauthorised access. I perform security audits and advice the various administrators on the effectiveness of security policies and recommend changes. I conduct security awareness training for all staff.
I worked at the Nigerian National Public Security Communications System Project as the Head of the ePolicing unit. This unit consists of the Police Information & Biometric Information System, Email & IM, Police Capability Improvement System, and Police Portals (Internet & Intranet). This means managing and operating multiple servers and databases (Windows, Linux and AIX), security appliances, network devices, storage area networks, all spread across the country. I supervised a team consisting of 2 network engineers, a security analyst, 2 programmers, 2 database administrators and 3 web developers.
I graduated top of my class and received the University Recognition Award for Academic Excellence
