• Structures spotting, finalization of route, preparation of plan and profile
in PLS CADD, Design criteria in PLS CADD, M4 modelling of PLS Pole
and PLS Tower models.
• Selection of conductor after ampacity calculations as per IEEE-738 as
per Load (in amperes) requirement shared by the Network study team.
• Supervision of Surveys.
• Preparation of Tentative Routes on Google Earth for bidding purposes.
• Preparations of Scope of works / BOQ, s and complete technical tender
documents including technical specifications required for the project as
per international applicable standards.
• Pre-Bid clarifications.
• Technical evaluation of bids proposals and finalization of vendors for
conductor, insulators, Towers / Poles with all allied hardware as per
specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Review and approvals of conductor, insulators, OPGW with all allied
hardware detailed design documents.
• Review of Towers assessment for newly proposed conductor in
comparison with the already installed conductor i.e., transverse,
longitudinal and vertical loadings as per technical specifications loading
conditions i.e., 90° wind, 45°wind, Failure containment and Construction
& Maintenance.
• Tracking of Planned vs. Actual progress and highlights the areas of
concerns to contractor for timely completion of project.
• Supervision of detailed survey, Construction of foundations, towers
reinforcements and stringing as per approved design and protocols /
procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Tracking of Planned vs. Actual progress and highlights the areas of
concerns to contractor for timely completion of project
• Supervision of detailed survey, civil works including stub settings and
earthing, erection, stringing, Testing & commissioning as per approved
drawings and protocols / procedures.

(KE, TBEA & BARQAAB) within the Power field. This has resulted in professional competency in all technical
aspects of Transmission Lines
I have experience of Transmission Lines and Grid Station works as following;
1. Designing and construction of 500kV, 220kV and 132kV Transmission Lines (including technical
data sheets, sag & tension, Loading calculations for Towers and Poles, PLS-CADD profiling,
construction of foundations, Erection, Stringing and Testing).
2. Construction of primary sides of 500kV Grid stations including cable terminations as per approved
schematics and testing of equipment.
3. Project scheduling on MS project and primavera P6.
4. Surveying and preparations of Tender documentsfor 500kV, 220kV and 132kV Transmission lines.
Barqaab Consulting Services (April, 2018 to August, 2019):
2.a) ±660kV HVDC Matiari - Lahore Transmission Line
(Portion)
• Supervision of erection of Towers, installation of insulator strings /
Hardware and Stringing of Conductor.
2.b) Project----------------220kV Mardan to Chakdara, D/C, T/B

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Making Monthly Progress reports along with the progress curve
comparison Planned v.s Actual.
• Supervision of detailed survey, civil works including stub settings and
earthing, erection, stringing, Testing & commissioning as per technical
specifications, approved drawings, and protocols / procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Made a complete Schedule of Construction on primavera p6 and Ms
project.
• Made daily progress sheet in Excel with weightage of each activity
according to BOQ.
• Made S
-Curve according to cost weightage.
• Supervised Foundations, Erections and Testing of complete equipment
in 500kV and 220kV Switch yard including 600MVA ATB and installation
of H.L BB, L.L BB (Flexible conductor), Tubular Conductor including
earthing mesh
• Supervised the Cable laying and termination C. Bs and CTs, Isolators to
relay room, 50BF breaker failure relays, 87HV protection relay, 50/51
over current relays and 87 differential protection relays to WC
-1 and C2
installed in Control House Building according to approved schematics.
• Supervised the cable laying and termination from transformer fans to
cooling cabinets to L.C.C to transformer auxiliary panel and Transformer
protection panels.
